Sold my 1200 Coupe, could not resist this JDM goodness. They now fetch a fuckload in their homeland.

Big ups to Truenotch hookin me up on this one. Saw him advertise here on behalf and I snapped it up as quick as possible.

Always wanted one of these 10 years ago before I knew anything about them. Just loved the tail lights and had no idea they were actually a Nissan Skyline rebadged in NZ a 240K.

I am 3rd private owner, from kms I have worked out only done about 90,000km. It is rusty in doors and parts of guards like all 240s (well make that all Datsuns!) but the chassis and underneath are mint. Matching L24.
Then I found some Mark IIs!!

15x7 and 15x7.5 SSR MKIIs , fit snug as a bug in a rug, need smaller tyres on rear stretch fit so they are the same as the front, 195/50/15s. Need to lower the front a wee bit more too.

Im with everyone else, make it legal and you will never have a problem. If you know you are in the right/beleive its OTT then complain to the Police complaints authority about the cop. This will make sure they learn as Police complaints made to the authority are always followed up (they are independant to the Police and have to be by law.)

Can you honestly expect every cop to know every law? Look at ONE offence in ONE statute (search the net.) There are always going to be dickheads in every job and I can guarantee that those on here that don't milk the dole fo-life have worked with one. Cops are no different and I have had my fair share of dealings with arsehole cops. Have dealt with the opposite too.

I also agree sausage jockys that drive around town all night in matt black EF civics or cars with no springs at all deserve all they get. If your prepared to drive around all night trying to race everyone at every intersection and draw attention to your self in areas where there are heaps of people or bound to be plenty of cops then you suffer some serious fuckin retardation.

Fark that, go to NZ Springworks in Naenae also, they can compress your old springs to your requirements. Good price and will heat temper them properly too so they dont break or sag.

^ Cheers for the info man. I heard the officer mention that she'd get the ticket in the mail. So he must of charged her with something. Surely it's dangerous driving to be looking in the back seat, having a conversation while driving over a blind brow of a hill

When you are charged with Careless driving you don't get a ticket, you go to Court! I would call the officer and pester him. If he won't take action ask to speak to his supervisor and go up the chain until its done.
