Check all the electrical connections on the coil and distributor, plug wires and the one from coil to dizzy. Could also be a bad coil or plug wires.

nah, the hydro fluid has to be pumped in under pressure
-
Always liked them, even though they look like they threw a van body on an imp chassis.
-
And check the camber on that orange one, goofy as fuck.
I like the silver.

ok chur just got me soob back on the road and lovin it after driving a slushbox sentra for a year. want to love night time too

don't know of any sites, but the library will prolly have a book.
oldschool internet ftw

My ute has twin sealed beam headlights.
Not a lot of light when you're used to halogens, good thing I'm not used to HID or something.
In England I replaced the sealed beam units in my van for ones that take halogen bulbs, in USA halogen sealed beams are common.
Are either option easily available in NZ? haven't seen them around.

There was a rusty old wolseley or something with a worked engine on trademe a week or 2 ago, guy reckoned it put out over 100hp.
-
Les at collins recommended that motor rebuilding place on vivian a couple of years back for both engine work and weber jets. I never made it there though.

I dunno, I can imagine ppl in their early 20s in their first decent paying job wanting a new rwd car for a reasonable price.
Also to build up as a club/track car, although that won't be a big market.
and yeah the baja sucks.

repower old dmc with new flux capacitor. mean.
-
Sounds like a good idea - cheap little RWD.
-
Tonys quoted me 120 for SPs a while back. Guy reckons theyr heaps better than the monzas.

When I got my 1300 years ago it was lop-sided so I let fluid out the other side and thought it rode and handled pretty sweet. Was wicked fun on the dirt roads.
Why not try it and if you don't like it you can either get the work done or get some fluid pumped back in.

Pity they can't keep the I6 as well as introduve the V. Maybe even expand it to 4.5 that would be sick
-
SUs are cheap too, ahve a look out on tardme.
Larger ones were found in pairs on jags and the rover v8.
A lot of people like them cos they're easier to tune than webers. Just one tapered needle to change rather than pairs of jets and correctors.

I only have 1 pair of stubs an theyr solid.
-
- haha i've had my share of viscous lsd
- don't need to, I only need one diff out of the 2
- no pics, the viscous centres are sealed so can't see much anyhow
-
I have 2 viscous LSDs, both I think out of turbo legacies.
The first one I bought off tardme and it had been overpowered and the washers that the little spider gears bear against had broken up.
When I put a pair of stub axles in the diff centre I can slowly turn it by hand.
The 2nd one (thanks again jase) will only turn if I put one end in a vice and put a screwdriver through the stub axle in the other end and then it just turns very slowly.
Can anybody tell me if the first centre is stuffed? or is the 2nd one too tight?

Some dude who know's Japanesse can't make some serious coin being the middle man for guys like me who want parts we've found in Japan and organising payment/delivery etc. That'd work so good both ways. Cause tons of people want to use YAJ but can't and pages like these but can't.
My mrs is japanese and has family in yokohama, perhaps i shul sort something out.

I used to drive a 156 around for work but didn't like it. clutch and gearbox were good but the engine always seemed to run out just when i was starting to have fun. Sucked in stop-start traffic, they really just want to run.
dog and lemon guide says avoud them cos they unreliable and expensive to service.
Looks count for a lot though.
