I gave the weight of the leaf battery because it's the only one in my head, but it's only really good for a commuter unless you want to stop every hundred kilometers and avoid remote roads. Not my idea of a freedom machine.
So you put in a 60kWh battery and suddenly your cute little mx5 weighs as much as a ranger.

I think a big cruiser like a jag or Cadillac is the best candidate for conversion personally.
A 24kWh leaf battery is about 300kg so any nice nimble sports car is instantly ruined.

Haven't come across this site before:
Amazing amount of parts for japanese bikes. Full of diagrams from the manuals and even photos of the parts.

I think so, if it's the original.
There won't be that many around that don't need work.

I just drove my mk1 V4 everywhere at 50mph. Probably a good thing when one of the retread rear tyres untreaded itself on the motorway.

Why would one lust for their jets to glimmer?

Always been happy with my XA welders. You can borrow for a hoon if you like. Probably over ten years old now, but similar to this one maybe.

If we upgraded the ferry terminals and got some new reliable ferries and maintained the railway lines, some of that heavy cartage could go by rail instead.

If you're doing a road trip, RUCs and 80c/kWh fast charge will make it pretty spendy.
Better start snapping those k11s up before everyone catches on.

Hmm... 6kW motor and 7.2kWh battery.
I think I'd scrap the engine block, power steering, aircon etc it would probably double the range.

Imagine if we'd had 120 years of EV development and they were trying to turn us on to EVs:
"You just have to take the head off every 5,000km and decoke it. It's really no trouble."

One of the coalition partners watered that down so now they're gonna pay one of their sponsors $10 Million to tell them chargers should be a private sector thing.

What a strange watch, it's like those hours between dinner and bed time don't exist.

Chinese cars are a lot better now than they were ten years ago, in another ten I bet they'll be producing some of the best.

They're normally rated for about 600 cycles but some of my Panasonic batteries must have done more than that in the 15 years I've had the oldest ones.

Yeah cause everyone is in a traffic jam for fun
The reason it's busy is because that's when people need to get to places at that time
Varying the times you go to work is a nice idea but it isnt practical for most people
The irony is that they all drive their own car because it's quicker and easier.

My parents gave me this for my 21st
It came with a card that says W.W.I MAJOR JENNINGS D.S.O.
Google wasn't around when I got the watch, but now it is, so o know he was a surgeon.
