  1. Dad had a brand new NZ CX-7 turbo

    Went like a cut cat

But had was in the dealership more often than the VT Povodor he had

Turbo went after 20,000 KM's then again at 60,000 km's

    Rear suspension arm broke

Rear shock broke - snapped clean in half

    Had issues with leaking

Also engine mounts were replaced as they had flogged them selves out at 70,000km

  2. Run a Fenix in the Civc as they are one of my larger customers over here

Most of there stuff is manufactured in China

Guy who runs the business is Irish and I'm pretty sure he is drunk 24/7

However the rad I got for the Civc fitted perfectly and haven't had any issues with it in the 3 years it has been in the car

  3.

The new LED numbering system is pretty damn cool, they stole the idea from WEC

I wish F1 would push out some innovation like this

BTW Mondays race was another epic, Scotty D is defiantly in the hunt for the championship heading into the last two rounds with double points on offer for the final round anything could happen

  4. I can't see Haas being a midfield car straight out of the box, fuck if Mclaren Honda couldn't do it, doubt Haas can.

Marussia is Ferrari supported too, enough said.

They are also trying to be factory based out of the US, that's going to bring a whole world of challenges...

Way different to the  Marussia arrangement

We are taking Ferrari supplying pretty much the entire car barr the TUB and Aero (which is being supplied by Dallara in the first year, which has had unlimited wind tunnel time this year at Ferrari (Allot of teams are suspicious of Ferrari as apparently there are a lot of Ferrari guys running about in Hass shirt's prompting guessing as to how much Hass data is going back to Ferrari)

The cars will be run out of the ex- Marussia factory during the season

The are rumors Mclaren and Honda could do something similar with Marussia with ART doing the day the today running

What ever happens more cars are good as it means more drivers get a shot

  5. This too has crossed my mind. At work we have lots of this stuff lying around. The 6 cylinder engines are too long for the short Sierra engine bay. We do have a 2002 545 at work. Nice compact al alloy V8 but if i was to go this route im better off with a trusty 1UZ that has plenty of cheap parts available.

Rover V8 is yuk but the later model 3.9/4 liter version are not as yuk.

Again we have a few of these and i was looking at one yesterday. It could be an option but again i think the 1UZ would be a more sensible option. I dunno.

Use the bmw V8 OMG pls

    dem bmw v8 sounds

  6. Nothing wrong with an older driver. These guys are only 35 years old. It isn't exactly over the hill, is it?

But, if we're talking age and performance, I'd like to see Massa be put to pasture. He's gone a long time without doing anything memorable and struggles to outshine his team mates. I was very happy to see him come back after his accident, but I think he has done his time.

I still think Alonso has something to give though, he even proved it last weekend, and Button is just a good guy and a reliable set of hands. I'd like to see him at least get a shot in a competitive car next season (whether it be a McLaren or if rumours are to be believed, a Williams).

Nothing wrong with an older driver it there still performing at a Top level, but if there not its time to move on

100% agree with the Massa call - he has never seemed to recover from that German GP

Another 2 seats will be available as well next year at the Hass Ferrari, which I'm putting money on being a midfield car out of the box, due to there unlimited development this year and there partnership with Ferrari (Maybe Kimi will go be Gene's experienced driver for mega $$$$)

  7. Before the race I would have said Kimi should go, but it is hard to be so harsh after he effectively retired from 2nd position. He was doing really well in Hungary, so I wouldn't be surprised if Ferrari throw him a lifeline and give him a couple more races to prove himself.

I almost think the same for Bottas. He has been great on a couple of occasions both this and last year, but has he done enough to justify a Ferrari seat? I'm not sure.

At this stage I would like to see the Hulk in the seat, but are Ferrari ready to have two Germans in the red cars? Vettel has done a great job of becoming an Italian this year, but he is still oh so German.

I would love to see the Hulk in a good seat, however I have a feeling that its just not going to happen :(

While I agree Kimi is driving well I think it's time for him to move on

There to much young talent waiting in the wing that isn't getting a chance, driver careers seem to last longer these day than ever before

  8. Good race last night

What a start the Williams made, like serious rocket spec starts

The Mercedes was looking a touch above the rest of the field all weekend

Ferrari will be very happy to score the final podium place after the spent the weekend looking slightly behind the Williams in pace

Congrats to Teflonso on his first points this year

    Summer break now :(

  9. Good race, Britney's start was probably best start I have ever seen from him....

Geeze those last two corners are good and being such a short track it amazing how badly a small mistake can be magnified over a lap, there no chance to make it back up like on the longer circuts

    100% expect a Ferrari wheel Nut re-design

    Roll on Silverstone

  10. But he's right. So right, could you even begin to imagine the frustration of that deficit with no alternative in sight?

You need to chill out with your constant fuck off Redbull remarks, I think everyone gets that you don't want anything to do with the 4x Consecutive World Championship Constructors that are obviously no good at racing cars or building them.

Drinking Redbull just makes you really lucky.

Nah Red Bull can leave the building Seriously there attitude is pathetic

We can't Win so we are leaving WHA WHA WHA WHA WHA WHA WHA

Serious racers understand there are HIGHS and LOWS

Geeze as above did Frank Williams throw his toys outa of the cot in 97 when Renault pulled out leaving him to use a Mecachrome for 98 (Basically the same Renault engine they had been previously using but with no Factory support or funding or development) or similar for McLaren when Honda left them in the early 90tys and they forced to use none factory supported Ford motor for a season as Benetton had the full factory Ford backing before moving to Peugeot motor that was equally as bad..

Neither of them ever threaten to walk away from the sport or bad mouthed there engine manufacture to the extent that Redbull has, they shut up put in the hard work and did the required work to get there teams in a position to Win again.

What Engine Manufacture is going to want to join up with RedBull at the risk of being slagged off like Renault has…..really as whoever jumps in it will take time to develop and bring their engine up to a competitive level…will they be willing to be copping abuse the entire time from there partner until there engine is competitive?

I won't argue they are good team and the 4 world Title prove this but there attitude towards the sport IMO is Crap

Every team has its up and downs it how you turn it around that proves what type of team you are

I think this sums it up: "Williams is one of the world’s leading Formula 1 teams. It exists Purely to race in the top echelon of motor racing, where it has been winning grands prix for more than three decades." or  "McLaren exists to win races. Indeed, since arriving in the sport in 1966, we’ve won more grands prix than any other Formula 1 marque.".....

    is Red Bull the same....?

Do they exist to just go racing?
