The finished van looks mint but I can't help wondering how much time & money you'd end up spending to get it looking that good.
Even if you bought the body, wheels & basic interior, there's still a shit-load of scratch building to do.
Having said that, it'd be a hell of a project, You should definitely buy it and build it.
You're welcome
Just like the real thing

No it's generally pretty easy
No sign of damage/been dropped on that fork, I once had one that had dented a bit where the seal sits.
I filed it out so the seal was sitting round again and no worries.
It looks like quite a leak tbh more than a stone chip might make

Unfortunately only just realised they've registered it as a 'Honda motorcycle' and not a Nifty 50'
Remember seeing someone else have this issue so going to have to scroll back and see if I can find it.
Going to head back to the AA soon and see if they can fix this
*edit - cost me $132 all up. Registered for 6 months for anyone wondering
The joy of having it registered is a Honda motorcycle will soon be realised
I have one as a "yellow suzuki"
I have 8 yellow suzukis

Lurk here,
https://totalbodyshop.co.nz/collections/garage-sale
If you are gona repaint the whole thing and or don't care too much about a respray in thr original colour you can get a few litres reasonably priced. The dulon lightning mcgreen is a bit lighter but might suit
Dulon is a bit old tech, but pretty fine for an old car, it's probably painted in something similar. I touched up chrisr's tonner with it and it's still stuck on
Not as "bad" as 2k (the bad stuff is mostly in the clear), but If you did a solid 2k base you wouldnt have to do a clear (although the added UV protection of clear helps)

Global competence shortage
They have been shown how to operate the machine, and "go a size up" but not why and when that should be done

Could be a good winter project, any idea on what resistance the windings should be?
I've been thinking of buying some flashing LED's for them https://classiccarparts.co.nz/classic-car-led-12v-self-flashing-36mm-semaphore-trafficator-amber-led-slimline-256-12v36flash
I did mine just by roughly measuring the wire and counting the coils. I might have some further in for long deep in my morrie build as it was about 2007 I did it. The resistance is probably in the manual somewhere, il see if I can find it

No idea what this is or what it does but seems cheap and is listed under alloy wheels at the moment. Garden ornament maybe?
It's a big press
Be good for making floor panels probably

You can get all those trafficators going again. It's usually the shellac on the windings is failed and shorting. Fairly straightforward to rewind by hand, not too many wild turkeys cos there's 700 odd coils

I don't have any spare plastic tanks, but I can probably find some late model frame mounts if you wanted to convert to a steel tank.
I should have a seat, probably ripped
