heading to wgtn for the wknd in 2 wks time (27/28/29th). so Im curious- whats there to do in wgtn on the wknd? recommended pubs etc? also any suggestions of reasonably priced (read=cheap!) places to stay (must have offstreet parking for the esk!) greatly appreciated. ta muchly!

okay- we are talking bout the pukeora hillclimb- which is this sunday- and is in waipuk (well technically jsut beyoned waipuk but lets not be fussy...) And yep that sounds like a plan - those who want to meet; SUPERCHEAP CARPARK (next to Kmart) in Hastings at 9am on Sunday for convoy down to Pukeora.

i always gone to the place in 'dale- just always seemed to work out a bit cheaper and really pleased with the work they have done- really tidy etc
