  11. i got a new job as a 'assistant mechanic' and the manager there has heaps of contacts for car services. I should be able to get mates rates when i need it. I'll fill you guys in on how it goes and if the place that do it is any good. (auckland)
  12. ok sweet... there goes that idea, might just have to get out the angle grinder and wire brush...
  13. im just wondering, what does sand or bead blasting actually involve? how do the professionals do it? i want to do the interior and engine bay of my car but im not really prepared to fork out a hell of a lot of muney. i had the idea of using an aircompressor with a home-made style feeder with some sand from placemakers... would/could this work? sounds a bit rangi but it would save money.
  14. fair point, i guess i was kindof looking at it from a different angle. taking how mint the wheels on it now into consideration etc ... i say some dumb stuff sometimes

    Over heating

how old is the radiator, how long has it been in there? it could be something as simple as pipes being clogged with shit, which is a fairly simple thing to fix: empty radiator, get radiator cleaning stuff from repco etc do wat instructions say after that, take drain plug out or take the bottom of the radiator, stik a hose in the radiator filler cap crank the hose and let it go through the system 4 5 mins or so. this might help but if your new radiator hasnt been in the car for very long it might not make much difference
  16. dunno how much that would help the acceleration aye, as evos are 4wd
  17. totally agree, nice looking rims, suit the car damn good
