can also get a leaf added to stiffen it up a little, i reset mine 3ins and theyr dead flat but a little soft so im getting another leaf added when i get it on the road

yeh just springs as theyr were stil captive i think lowered it 2ins from memory

u have to go custom springs for front try snells springs in onehunga mate got his made there for his hunter, it rode pretty good

yeh it also adds a little bit of safety taking boost ref from the turbo or as close as possible to the turbo, because if you take it from the inlet manifold and have a leak some where in the intercooler piping the turbo could overboost and fuck it

i got some on mine with 235/50/13s, before lowered it would have still needed at least lip roller, but im now 3ins lower and had flares/guards widened 30mm

i found my bosch bov leaked above 10psi or so

my aim is 250 to 300rwkw and i think im being a realest there ( at the mo with shit tyres and with it poping off on the dyno 179rwkw )
but as im getting into alot more track work with this car i would like a turbo with like you say a good compromise between power and lag
and the moment with abit of guessing boost comes on about 4000rpm and above ( i have the ebc set at 5% gain )
so yea something thats not to laggy but still delivers power ( make sense? )
i may be confusing myself more by also asking this but how much would a decent exhaust manifold help the situation?
yeh something must be wrong if its coming in that late, mates chaser has like no lag, just run 2 28s be sweet haha

opps meant like copies, barry did run copy turbo but was 1 of the better 1s, now runs masterpower

just same as any other asian turbo, mate got a "bolt on" kit for his gsr, nothing was right

has a 1600 engine out of a mk2 cortina gt in it
came on a set of 5.5in wide hotwires
found some tyres 2x215/50/13s ok cond and 2x215/50/13 brand new
then found some 7in dished hotwires they came with 2 stuffed eagers and 2 good condition 235/50/13s
how it sat for most of the time
most of body stripped back to metal and work begins on front flares

illing gap 30mm wider
all primed up
rear flares taken off, leaves reset 3inchs back in nice and boned
