Maybe to accommodate from the massive Gs on mega torque clutch dumps and wheel stands? Haha
yeah right.
not sure, but by my retarded thinking, if the engine is flattened off and the carbs leans forward 5-6 degrees then the rear rotor may be more likely to lean out and heat up. Which is what kills most 12a’s - dead rear rotors.
going to injection would fix that, until it dies eventually anyway (I am yet to have one die).
Not sure the longer runner would affect mixture much if at all? Always thought rear rotors died earlier was due to higher temps as coolant flows from front to rear, not hundy on that though

Whats in the e100?
Wholesale neutral spirits (96-97%) are pretty cheap (or they are over here)
I can make it for about 50cents a L so always been curious on if I can use to as an octane booster
Dunno about ethanol but I like your sig. Side note, a pretty famous rx7 racer/tuner (Jim Downing I think) reackoned he made more power on NA rotaries with lower octane and retarded timing.... as you were

Zero percent chance of legislation changing as a result of whinging, sorry petitioning. Farmers close down cities, workers close down industries just to get crumbs. The current cert system is fucking fantastic - shout out to all NZ certifiers doing gods work out there - mad love to yall. Oh wait the system doesn't suit a handful of turkeys and their specific situation - get fucked, read the rule book before importing or modifying and/or fuck off.

I dig most of that, but that wing- looks like a 5 year old stuck it on as an afterthought

Wish Jay would do a vid on how he puts the AE86 front suspension/control arms etc into the old Mazda's

Looks like the hose needs to be rotated 1/4 of a turn anticlockwise (on the square), are the hoses routed correctly? Are they the correct hoses for the vehicle?
You don't want to be taking any meat off the calliper, it could be tricky to prove that it has not affected the stength of the calliper, even though a finger in the air test says it will be fine, I wouldn't.Yeah I think they are 90deg out, hoses were custom made many years ago, I can't remember who fkd up either me or the hose shop not sure how it went wrong. Plenty of length I think to put round ends on

Yeah thanks man thinking again about it maybe that would be the best way after all if I can find an off the shelf male/female kinda thing
-
I guess but not sure it would save much effort or be much more appealing to certifier. I guess worst case I could get a new line made with a round end to better suit caliper but not heaps keen($)

Can I remove material from this ali brake caliper in the casting area marked and still pass cert? The square fitting on the new flexi line fouls 2-3mm. Tempted to just file all the way across but machining would leave a nicer finish. If machining maybe take the whole lot off flush with fitting face?

Thanks, I guess the strut could also be shortened instead of using a spacer to get a bit lower.
Factory bumpstops are a pain with the massive bracket thing, may need to be removed to be super slammed?

Sweet, how low does that get you?

Any recommendations on a short shock insert for rx2 front? Looking for something cheap

Where was that done?
Seems pretty reasonable, is that lapping not just surface grinding and re-nitriding also?

Would be interesting to hear current cost of lapping and nitriding

That's impressive, what's the plan to prevent reoccurrence?

Wouldn't triangulated mean no need for panhard or watts?

Yeah they are singles so all good there, some interneters say you need a specific trigger (wave form?) to trigger them that needs to come from an ecu, I dunno but this sounds bogus to me, dont think a coil is that complicated and a basic BIM will run it ok... thats my gut feel anyway
Rotary piner thread.

Could maybe benefit from a nice radius on closing edge of main port, hard to tell from photo but I would hazard a guess that the trailing edge of the side seal will be unsupported and need a rad to not catch. Will sound badass though. /make J ports great again (MJPGA?)
