Problem is that they aren't rb26 cam covers .
26 ones look like this:
Will be an RB25de Neo, or at least have the cam covers from one.

It gets forced up and out a breather, which normally goes to the intake. So the oil runs in there and gets burned up with the fuel.

Were they inflated while in storage? Any little cracks or anything on them?
May have perished a bit over that time, but should still work better then road tyres. I think it's pretty hard to tell without doing a road / track test though. Perished tyres feel kind of slimey compared to nice fresh ones, so you should be able to tell from that.

This should be sweet Wayne, fe's would definitely go a lot better with an SC12 on the side.

lol yeah he is ALWAYS flat out, but I'm sure he could manage a decent order of cams over a couple of months or so.

The few Boso cars / Vans I saw in Japan sounded funny. Sounds like they have 4 - 2 extractors with un-even length pipes coming out opposite sides.
That car would be a laugh.

Go to a mag wheel shop and get 2 boxes. They normally have heaps.
Or just send them as is , worked out fine when I sent some wheels to auckland.

Ok after stumbling around the forums for a while I started to wonder what Oldschool really means to you guys? Is along with the typical notion that a classic is 20 years old or older (as with some Classic racing and import laws), does the car have to be steel with 1 cam and cures, or do you see the oldschool as being in the heart of the owner ( ) .
Also is there a point where a car stops being oldschool and starts being vintage?
There seems to be quite a scope of generations coming through in the project threads from Muzzies 1961 Zephyr to DR30 skylines and even the 1990 Crown V8 ( ) .
And also cars like AW11 MR2's (Mine), or ae86's, peugeot 205's, Citroen BX's (Hydro's ), GX71 Cressida's, S12 slivias.
Pretty much what do you see oldschool as personally? (...... boes.....)

You can chop HEAPS off the rear coils in a MkII and it will still be captive. I had 2 coils off in my old grande and they were still as captive as ever.

Dont know if manfeild will be running any more trackdays of that format. The best way will be to join the Manawatu car club or another MSNZ club and do test days, club sprints etc.
There is another openday which is sponsored (Must mean more money for manfeild.... $$$$ ).
This one is called The Mag And Turbo trackday and is a Clubsportday under a different name.
More info here.
