It's the sticker, makes the bonnet look wobbly in that pic. It's actually straight.

This car was built in the late 70's / early 80's in NZ and was brought in specially to be made into a rally car. TE27, 2T pushrod with 140hp, 780kg's and nimble suspension:

Took it in for a dyno run today to make sure it wont blow up at the track.

Need to work on the sloppy curves. Probably cam timing and some playing with the link will give me a smoother curve and peak power and torque sooner. But this will do for first testing.

^^ Yep De walt aren't bad but they get really hot in the transmission and are pretty average to work on. Plus the company is AVERAGE at the moment for parts delivery and paying their warranty agents for work they have done .

kyteler: Nah the AW11 race car project is canned now, this was too much of a logical decision not to make. Might get a free 4age and get it going as a roadie again though.

It used to have TRD style box flares and red bumpers but I like it better with the current set up TBH.

And yes the flares are a simple bolt on. Black it is.
