  1. I couldn't find this either! :P

Haha that GX61 facelift with the black roof looks like my old hack! Used to be manual and has a 1ge with sweet pod filter attached?

And Re: other thread, they do make very good skid cars for whales!

  2. If you are doing exhaust wrap you really need to get the good stuff. I forget what it's called but you can get it from Pioneer auto parts here, not sure who would stock it around the country. An easy way to tell which stuff is best is that the wrap will be a brown / tan colour as opposed to white and it has a line stitched down either side about 15mm from the edge - to help you line up the layers evenly.

Also if you want to to wrap up nice and tight then put the lot in a bucket of water before starting. When it's wet it expands, so when you apply the wrap it will dry off and tighten up heaps. Like that Jacky Chan trick. Then secure it at the ends with either wire, stainless clips or glue. Works sweet.

Edit: and it does the job of keeping the heat in the pipes better then HPC .

  3. Man ke11?! Awesome.

At my school we have an R32GTST, 310 datsun - orange on Advans, Standard mint Escort Sport with Rostyles, Crappy red civic on 17's, crappy primer civic, couple of riced FTO's and preludes owned by ESOL students, Austin 1300, mini, 4afe AE111 levin, ae101 20v, teachers combi van, teachers Triumph Dolomite, few lasers and Famillias, integra with a noisy exhaust and sounds, Datsun Sunny (first of FWD's) with THE GAYEST MODS ever - it had a bolt on muffler tip that looked like it was from a lawnmower and a whole catalogue of Supercheap crap inside.

And my list of cars at school as a TT141 corona - 3TB and T50, Saab 99 4 door minter, Mazda 626 Thrash hack that we blew the head gasket on, my AW11 and sometimes the old mans AE86.

  4. That 86 would be worth it if it was tidy and didn't have the average bolt in cage, rivets in the seams and dodgey looking wiring. Nice conversion... Although I got my 86 race car for a lot cheaper with more in it...

There are some awesome cars on that site!
