Hi,
Your question is better suited to the Tech section, so I've moved it there for you.
Cheers.

Sounds like you should have it sorted... but it'll probably be a bitch to bleed up!

Hillman Husky would rule as a company car.

Pert 2-in-1 shampoo and conditioner is the best defog out there.

My opinion - go an consult with a designer. Tell them your activities/target market/desired image and let them work their magic.
You may as well make them work for their $$ .

Used diesel oil. I'm quite keen to try it on something.

Cool, so the 2010 winter season is all over now and there are a few things to work on:
- Rebuild diff with 4.556 CWP
- Tyres - Need new ones and am on the lookout for 225/15 slicks
- Brakes - New pads and fix the LF caliper mount
- Suspension #1 - Mod the Castor arms to pull in more castor and fit V8 supercar rose joints
- Suspension #2 - more lowness, 30mm RCA's, Adjust the 4 links to get it squatting and maybe a Watts link
Engine
- Build a good, fresh Beams
- 12:1 compression, Cams, dreams
- Stand the motor up with Altezza Sump and mounts
- Re-mount engine and gearbox
- Build new intake manifold
Want to have this done by next year's winter series... We'll see how it goes. It might be quick car one day.

The low roofline makes it from this angle IMO.
-
So did you change the pipe?
-
if you do it properly
-
I agree with Brad - it will be that top pipe that heads over the intercooler piping. If you make that the filler point your problems will probably be solved.
Otherwise it's likely you'll blow a head gasket before getting it on the road.

Looks like it was at the HB hillclimbs over the weekend:

Have a listen to this KK - you'll enjoy the citroen guy at the start at least .

There's some interesting points when they talk about having charge points around town in Wellington, and the Mitsubishi iMiEV.

I'd roll that.

May as well do some stitching while the engine bay is bare. And a bubble-gusset like Joes MS paint art would be worthwhile.
Do it once.
-
OK, so it wouldn't make any difference between the two. The hole would come out round in both cases and you'd need to make or adapt a butterfly either way.
-
Understood... I'm deciding what to do when the Beams eventually gets stood up... and taking the silvertop throttles I have out to 48mm might be a good option. Then it would be a 48mm hole straight through - round all the way. I assume blacktop ones would still retain their kidney shape on the back.
-
Awesome.
-
I'm thinking about machining a set of Silvertop quads out to 48mm and making a new throttle butterflies. There's definitely enough meat but it could be tricky.
Opinions?
Would also be keen to experiment with 45mm bike quads with outboards.

Wait till you get your engine and box and do some measuring before hand... From what I remember, the original shafts from that gearbox were going to fit straight into my AW11 (SW20 NA axles).

Just another thought - it might be an idea to make a specialised filling funnel for this so the level sits higher than that pipe while your bleeding the system.
Then when you're done you pull the funnel out and place the cap on quickly and ensuring it's well bled.
