Cheers piazzanoob , I'm bloody stoked with it, and the lads at Vinny Fab did a great job.

It is hard taking it anywhere I've ended up being very protective of it, and trusting anyone is hard. But so far I've been very lucky to have dealt with some top guys, who are just as crazy and bigger perfectionists than me.

I do love me an rx4 coupe.

But, that is one ugly duckling, gran turismo or not, that is no $57k car.

But then again, Sam did just sell his rolling body sedan rx3 for $50k (ish), but that was a real sweet looking sedan.

Meet a young guy years ago who had a green rx3 coupe as his daily, was an og one owner car that the old owner had traded in. 

He paid silly money for it ( like $6k ) and only had it a few months before it was stolen and stripped and burned out at the waimak river.

Was just looking at the agentoj b1600 on trade me,  (good ute for the money) and was wondering how his og agentoj rx2 never got found.

That thing stuck out like a neon light.

It always surprises me when a car like that just never turns up again.

Strangely enough, I couldn't even find a pic of it . really did disappear .

And yes, I did just put a picture of a v8 on the rotary page. -100 points for me.

I have no problem with it. I think he is brave taking the financial risk. 

Do I hate people who use cars for speculating, and price genuine car enthusiasts out of the market, yes, but it happens world wide.

I had a good dig over it earlier on in the week. 

Lhs respray was average, but have seen way worse. 

Oil cooler lines were leaking, and one mount was broken .

Ac compressor had been removed, and lines blocked off.

Raidiator had no antifreeze and radiator hoses were crunchy.

Not a bad car really, all the things you would expect of any car that sat in a museum for over ten years.

You would have to buy it knowing that it would need some money spent dragging it back to reliable working condition.

They sold it reg on hold and un wofed 

I valued it for me, at no more than $20k including turners fees.

Someone at turners obviously thought that older rx values translated down to rx7's , and the fact some speculator paid a premium for it will now bring a lot more og rx7's out of the woodwork and drive the prices up.

Will it sell on trademe for $40k plus. I doubt it.

But 458 pages ago none of us wanted to pay $20k for an rx3 coupe.

I was willing to go up to 20k , but they never even got lower than 24k.

Auctioneer wanted to start at 40k

Turners rx7 sold for drug money.

Not 100% on the order of them, but the limited always seems to have the brown interior and the GT has black, all of them have a savannah badge on the passenger guard

Was locked today, and no one could find the keys, so will go back this week for a better look.

rust wise, nothing showed in the normal places, even the drain holes at the bottom of the rear hatch were clean and clear.

Has the savanna badge on the drivers guard, but is missing the rx7 badge on the passengers guard.

tail lights are clear and crack free, is some small amounts of overspray on some of the passengers side rubbers, but I'm being picky .

Didn't think s1 got the 6 port, or had those seats, but I'm not a rx7 barry.
