vote for tiida too. im sure ive mentioned it in this thead already but yeah we crash test with them and then abuse them afterwards. literally bulletproof, ive never ever broken one.

they are pretty dull, but if mum is that way inclined i rekon she could get a very tidy low KMs one for the 7-8k mentioned and then put some cool wheels on it? makes a world of difference.
probably wouldnt buy one of the later model 3cyl 'latios' very shitty to drive and crash imo

Yeh they're an appliance spec car for sure ... and that's pretty much what 99% of people's use for a car is right.  Get from A to B.

Cheap on gas, roomy inside, adult in the back seat is comfortable (in comparison to swifts), rear seats folded down for plenty of space if needing to move big items.

If I was after an appliance spec car they'd be near the top of my list.

  2. Yeh I guess it's hard to know full facts behind stories like that.  "the China government tells people nothing, but we have this scoop" is always an interesting angle to take.

Likely many many industries are guilty of ponzi scheme's, short term profit driven and forget any consequences.

This is nucking futs. I remember seeing the bikes stacked high as far as the eye can see. But it seems they do it with electric cars too...

So I guess the problem is the economic system and incentives to make money/profit?

  4. Awesome!  4 coupe's are boss, and even though that's got as you've said some 2000 era mods, it's nothing that can't be altered / changed to suit your taste.

Agree on the wheels, that car deserves much better than some $500 advanti's.

Something 14"/15" japanese would be the go IMO.  Or titans of course.
