i've got chrome'd quater bumpers and a complete interior,

chrome quarters are nice.. did you buy yours chromed or get em done? if you wanna sell.. i wouldnt mind a second set

got them chromed about 2 years ago, bought them from a wrecker when they were black and in average/poor condition, got them chromed by bumper replacements ltd, not the cheapist but came out really nice

not really keen on selling, as i rekn they set off mk2's if you know what i mean

yeh, i've already got a spare set of tail lights - i broke 2 (both on the right side) over my 3 years of driving it on the road

i paid $100 for a complete seat of mint tail lights, and that would of been about 4 years ago now ... that was from a wrecker though.

i've got a mk2 wagon thats been in a very long build,

and im thinking that by the time its ready to come on the road the parts that i may need will be near impossible to find.

so what parts for mk2 escorts are getting near impossible/very difficult to find (interior trims, bits of chrome etc) ... and prices that you may of paid for them.

i have a mk2 wagon (same guards) and it took me ages just to find 1 guard, as they are different to sedan guards.

Well if it's a rotary, most likely is. All the rotary boys run 51mm IDA's, must be some respect thing associated with it

yep, lots of rotaries run 48 and 51 IDA's because they run heaps better than the standard 4barel nikki carb. and sidedrafts dont seem to run as well as downdrafts on rotaries

agreeing with the comments on how dumpy mufflers look gay on new skool cars,

when my mk2 wagon was running i was using 185/55/14's, rubbed hard when i lowered it, front and back, so just got the guards lipped, solved the problem

square lights look all good, make the car more staunch i reckon,

as you said with the front lower it will make it look heaps better! and i rekn the square lights look mean on slammed escorts

Reality is, that a whole bunch of cocks in RX's(I actually do like rotaries so don't start crying about that too) will do burnouts, speed and probably kill an orphanage worth of children. And it's a bummer that we have come to expect that.

snells in penrose is good $400 +gst for a set of 4 coils custom made up to however low you want, you may have to take in your standard springs though ... and if your car has leave's at the back, take them to snells too, and they can flatten them out for ya, and even put an extra leaf in to stiffen them up a bit

get some brand new shocks, then get them shortened, and you should have captive springs, making WOF's a breeze .
