I need to get my side stripe things back, binned them in the 90's before i knew i was a douche
The stick on 'bump strip' type things? Can't you buy them from repco etc?

Seems to be more 'original' rx2 / 616 than rx3 / 808's

Yep for sure, I just found it funny cos from a distance would you actually be able to tell some 13's from 14's ... probably not!
Personal opinion is awesome, I just think the harsh-ness of calling someone a cock cos of their wheel choice is a bit over the top. But it was just a joke I'm sure.
Anyways, sweet little mazda, let me know if you want to sell it

harsh personal opinion, I think this looks sweet though.

Where'd you get that pic? That's a british columbia plate and I'm yet to see an RX's older than a FB rx7 yet

How did they get the coupe looking good, and the sedan so so so wrong?
wash your mouth out!

I know this is a 1981 Mazda 323 but excuse my ignorance but it is the first oldschool Mazda ive owned. I have had a few old KE's and of course my 80' Hilux currently but ive always wanted to fix up a old school mazda and the 80's wagon has always appealed to me.
Can anyone shed some light?
its a 2 door wagon. it's a 'low roof' model which makes it more desirable. chrome bumpers are a plus too. 2 door wagons are a bit rarer, but 4 doors seem more sought after.
not really too sure how much more you'd need to know.

Looking at this page, are stupid wheels mandatory when installing rotors?
Most of my pix are from at least 4-5 years ago. Styles have changed kinda, seems like more rx's have the knock off jap looking 15" wheels now days.
I still love the look of most 90's wheels on rx's though, reflexes, zs's, astrons, cobra's etc.

Yes has been there for a few years now, had two owners in Auckland then sold to Wellington for a while then onsold to an Australian buyer.
The Rotahavik ad would be 5 years ago surely
ha ! time flys huh

-
It is most definately in australia now, new owner was looking to go 20b with the same level of detail
Recently? I remember seeing it for sale a couple of times on Rotahavik a few years ago.

Damn looks sweet!
Any shots of the wheels with eagers on the car? would of look good for a laugh
-
if those eagers are good, then you'll probably get about 15K for the car
-
looks photoshopped?

I knew I should've never advertised rx2 parts on facebook, pack of dicks making stupid offers and then getting mad when I tell them $15 for a good condition centre console doesn't even make it worth my time to reply to them.
Yep, selling parts on trademe is at least easier in regards to idiots. Sux about success fee's, but at least you don't end up with an inbox full of retarded offers.

Schmik?? Sounds like onomatopoeia for a come shot to the face...
Never thought of it like that ... I'm not Aussie, but seems like it could be an Aussie term?
Australian informal

Managed to get a few WOF's in my old 808 wagon with a rotary in it with no cert, I'd always explain that the 1300cc on the engine bay tag was for the 13B that was now in it.
Had a few people just scratch their heads and just eventually agree.
Of course always the 'do a skid bro' and 'sick tang bro' gas station comments.
