whoops, the primered one looked like a different sort of flares ...
still i prefer the regular mk1 guards to the mexico bubble looking things.
-
depends how fuckd the bumper is ... if its mangeld, mite pay to suss another 1 and get that fixed up.
if its tidy-ish, it'd be about $400-500 for 1 big style 929 bumper.
-
looks cool, would still prefer the aussie white mk1 bo55 or whatever the number plate was.
not a big fan of huge guards like that has, much prefer factory lines of old cars ...
-
dumpy for shore
-
lowered it on the weekend!

had a guy use one of those things on my rx7 when i had the guards
'lipped'.
paint will always crack, he used a heat gun to 'soften' the paint up a bit,
but especially if its an old car, your bending steel, so paint doesnt
stretch, especially old paint.
but the cracks that do happen are usually out of sight, so they didnt
worry me, just used touch up paint so it wouldnt rust.
but yeh, he charged me $45 per guard, but thats with him comming out
rural in south auckland, so if your charging $20 per guard with them
comming to you, sounds nice n cheap!

^^^^ that one's the best looking by far!
they definatly look better with the 'lotus stripe' on them, breaks it up
a bit.

1 of my hubbies fell off
i've got a wanted in the parts section,
so if you've got a 808 or rx3 set of hubbies, or know some1
with a set (or just 1) help me out!
please
-
used adapters on my rx7 the whole time i owned it,
never had a problem with them.
was running fwd offset rims and only had to get the guards lipped
so the tyres didnt scrape, but that was only cos i lowered it,
any rims would have rubbed
-
went for a drive down , would of been a brilliant day if it hadnt
rained, lots of cars, not massive amounts many racing, but
thats always the way.
heres some pix thanks to UZN GAS:

yeh spills are a bit of a problem, that's why the guys opening and closing gates try to wave off guys when they've sprung a leak ...
but some drivers are dedicated to blowing up their cars, be it oil or water
pissing out ...
short of stoping the action everytime a spill happens and cleaning up for 10-15 minutes, which would kill it for spectators ...
tricky situation, just part of going out on the pad...
