Theres another way, make a switch in one of your HT leads leading to a engine spark plug so that you can switch power between the cylinder spark and the exhaust spark, that way your car will momentarily run on 3 cylinders, guaranteeing there will be unburnt gas coming down the line,

other thing to do would be to build it the way Devious1 described and just pull the choke out when u wanna light it up.

I found a little thing on my parts car called an anti dieseling solenoid which is a valve which stays closed while the motors running but opens when you switch it off to stop it stuttering and choking etc. its sitting in my shed somewhere, i could find it for you if you were keen.

This ramflo has no oil in it at all, I always new my imagination was up to no good...

I fitted a ramflo air filter(courtesy of Green_mk2_escort)to my 1300 esky today and it definatly sounds different, seems to even feel more powerful.

is this just my imagination or does a simple airfilter swap improve performance? (the original airfilter was still clean as and pretty new)
