    fuck mate how much do ya want to pay? youd pay more for em if ya got magoos to do them than buyin them. any GOOD exhaust shop could make them up. you need to find somone who has a mandrel bender or do them in sections using donuts so the tube doesnt narrow at the bends like normal bent exhaust tube
  4. ive got celica/supra discs on my mk2 corty they r the correct offset and a volvo 4 spot bolts on with no spacers
  5. with the lexus just a link computer will get ya very close add some better cams and ya lookin at 350-375 depending on profile. with 289/302 its heads /cam/carb/compression/ign to get a reliable 300+ hp but not as smooth and torquey as the toy v8
  6. nah man i want it to go fast nah i just want to be differant plus ive heard real good thing about the lexus and for what u pay 4 one youd only buy a very average 289/302 any way plus i still want to use my trans and stuff. prolly only cost about $600 to fix v6 fit good in ya esky
  7. fuck u lot didnt miss anything at the skids was fuckin boring just a bunch of homos in shittas only a coulpe of good v8s the real good v8s were in the carpark but not skidding i left b4 the end. and to top it all off the corty hemeraged on the way home[about 3 blocks] and the motors sounding very sick. are going to sell the v6 and put a toyota v8 in it. so if anyone wants a fully worked chevy v6 about 320 hp that cost 10 grand to build its yours for 1500 bucks complete fan to flexplate incl carb and dissy
  8. yeah that right could get the article if you like. was gonna[still might] do it to my mk2 just the fabed bottom arms could get a bit sticky for cert. but would make heaps more room in engine bay for large motors ive had heaps of probs with the chevy cause there is no room for the sump. without the steering arms at the back there would be 3inches more room[heaps]
  9. spose it all depends on the make/brand of the valve prolly better to see a brake expert. speaking of skids , are adjustable bias valves or line locks legal in a road car?
  10. dont think it would make a difference, they work by restricting flow to the rears so its only a smaller hole in the valve should work mounted anyhow
  11. good on ya bra just testing just make some brackets to space it down. using the original holes at the top and the same on the column with some steel made to fit inbetween. hot rodders do it all the time
  12. if the stocker aint enough where the fuck r u driving from , the boot? . your not a dwarf r ya? ya know that lying so low that ya look cool but cant see over the dash or out the side window. is gonna cause ya some panel damage and some scratches on ya nice paint dude

    next things for corty are oil catch tank, MSD ignition and a better hi stall torque convertor the 3000rpm one ive got = not enough. gonna get a 4000 for hard launches

    any performance shop such as sylvesters in chch should be able to get them 4 u. i have ARP bolts thru out my engine and was told they are a good insurance policy
  16. the best thing to do is to try and use the most factory bits u can as the master and slave cyls are matched to give the best travel/feel in the factory. since the capri is cable u r gonna have to fab a clutch pedal ass to work a hydr master cyl. gettin the ratio right of the pedal- pushrod to get the clutch 1 to work properly 2 to have the right feel[ hard/soft] is the hardest thing. RT has done a similar conversion so u might wanna ask him. he might have an easy solution. other wise it could be a bit of trial and error
  17. yeah not real sure what went on at the skids , i went down for a look there was some skids goin on and about 2hundy cars parked out on the road. maybe it was a bit of a free session. might check out the temata stage of the targa. went to the raukawa stage last year and it was a bit boring. i know the back road of the tuki well so might find a choice spot and hang for a while.

  20. yipee good shit, wish i had some pics when took the corty down . did a couple of skids my mate with the RX3 did a smokey 4th gear tyre shredder. he reckoned he could have got into 5th but was having a shit of a time controlling the revs and staying on the pad

  24. i live down caroline road bout 3 blocks from showgrounds. gates openat 12 so skids prolly start a 1? dunno about the rain no smoke in rain could be a bit of carnage in the muddy carpark too . better put some knobblys on the corty
