Great, and great.
I started sorting out the deck today, bought some angle iron, which I thought was going to cost heaps, and w2as only $18 for a length. very good price, very happy.
Also picked up all the brakes, and started fitting the rears, only to find, that there were only three shoes. damn repco. they suck
And also the fronts I got were wrong, so now I need to sort another set for the front, there were three options.
SO gay in that sense aswell

Well, GOT WOF TODAY, fucken great. I am happy as. But now I have to sort the paint out where I did the repairs. Talked to the painter, 1 liter of paint will be mint. if we cant blend it, then will only need to paint out the roof.
Will get the colour match sorted tomorrow. which means I need to take the petrol flap off. But its ok.

yay, cut the tabs and pins off the tray today. and cleaned down the dash and scrapped the over sray off the windows, so its getting there. Will hopefully buy a length of angle iron tomorrow, and get on sorting out this tray. brakes will be there tomorrow as well. So I will be busy. Basicly, the guy who does my warrents has gone away for the week, so I have till next monday to sort out everthing. Shouldnt be too hard. Tires for the 18's is the biggest killer, but will try and get ok second hand ones.

mine at 14x6.5 with negative 27 offset come flush to the edge of the 3 inch flares on my starlet...... so yeah, its mental. Thats why I need wider, so I can stretch, other wise the tires will just sit with flares touching..... so mega gay

hmm....... cant say I have ever heard of those, probably something you could buy back in the eightys. best thing you can do, is buy a normal arial, like a universal external one, and mount it in the gap at the front of your car between the grill and radiator support. Works mint, and is hidden pretty well.

Oh, I also fixed the selctor problem, as its cloumn change, when I got it, it wouldnt really go in to first, and I never got it into third, had a look today, and the cross shaft that goes between the gear box and chassis had fallen out of the box, so I undid the gear box mount, moved box over, and maged to push the shaft back in there. So now it Shifts in all gears!!
Still abit sloppy though, but thats ok, it works

haha, i will wind down the front, but not till after wof. the problem is, the back is still far to high. so I dont really want it looking like a plow any more than it does already
how are those carinas

slanting a 4age makes no diffrence anyway, they could probably run upside. Best motor in the world.

So, I tried to bleed up all the brakes, and no, they are stuffed. So I have on order, a full set of brake shoes for the front and rear, and brand new wheel cylinders all round. So hopefully that will sort out the problem, with out me needing to rebuild the master cylinder, because that would be all bad. All up the brake parts are $248.50 retail, but thankfully I get trade on that due to me being a mechanic... still pretty crazy, and gay
Anyway, got all the wheels on it today, and I am very happy. and I also pulled the sides off the tray, and I think it looks heaps better, so I will be keeping it that way, but I do need to clean it all up, and remove the pins that hold the sides etc on.
But the first step is getting some wood in the tray so I can get wof. once it has wof, I will make c notch, and and buy some bags. have a buddy with some valves and switch box, so Its likely I will buy those. Then all i need is the lines, and to sort out a engine drivin compressor.
Anyway, here are some lovely pics of it with out the sides on the tray

Im flippin the centers on some volks i bought, ended up being 14x6.5 with -27 off set. Looks pretty mental, but the problem is they are still a 6.5 rim, so you can stretch tires on them. But, I also have anither set of volks, 2 14x6 and 2 14x7. so I may just use the rears of both rims, and end up with probably 14x8 and 14x9. Sounds good to me.

Low boost turbo 4age is simple, so so simple even that its crazy........
Im doing one in my starlet project.
Will start a project thread soon.
Best turbo for 4age is t3/t4

well, in between working on the cressida yesterday I manage to adjust and bleed the rear brakes, so thats all spiffing, and hopefully will be doing the fronts today. Anyway, last night I pulled out my pajero 18's and decided to fit them on, to see if i like them or not
Pajero Rim
On the shitter
Im pretty damn happy with how they look. I was thinking of doing steel rims with white walls. But after seeing these on there, flag that, the pajero rims are staying. it kinda sucks though, the tires on the rear have far to much profile, and look retarded. So I will be getting some new tires the same as the front. 215/35/18
Also, the truck just sits so stupid, as I cant really lower the back any more, or the chassis going to fit the diff over big bumps and stuff...... so i might have a go at my first C Notch.... that should be fun. Been having a look a dn its pretty damn easy. Only thing I will need to do is reloctae the fuel tank, which is a bummer, as its biggish. And I really dont wanna spend money on a fuel cell.... we will see
Anyway, good times

I take back what I said, these do look pretty mean on a decent set of rims
Example
Damn it, now im in love

It think it would be safe to assume it would weigh a fair bit. as these are bigger than a crown, and still run the solid body over chassis design....... anyway, nice car man, its good that your happy with the beaqst, maybe i should save up and import one!
How much did it set you back if I may ask?

yes, that is a very nice 620... only thing with that, is i dont know if I like how they have blended the tray into the cab. looks to modernish to me, but then I am a pretty strange lad..... I prefer things sort of rough and old school looking,
anyway, I was just going to fix and sell the beast, but have recently decided to probably sell me cressida, and keep this thing. But if I do that, I am so going to notch out the rear, as it sits way to high for me, and then maybe bag it out later on.
Who knows

sorry man, I need to check out that cross member in person, doesnt look like its too hard to fix, any chance you making it over to my work thiss week, Iu am there between 8-5 and uslally after that too, working on some old school shitter.
And go the beams, remeber, you can laways turbo it later on. They take to it pretty well. In the cases where I have been in an altezza, I feel they do need a little extra. Oh, even a better, run beams with sc-14 super charger. then you would be the king on the block

you will proabably have to run that camber just to fit the tires under the guards.
That is the problem, mean dish, with normal tires on rims means more tire around the gaurd edge.
Mega gay,
Oh Well, polishing is fun
