  1. Hahaha, true true...How much would you be looking at for fuel injection? Coz I could just build it up over a period of time amongst other mods so that i will be able to turbo it in due course? Get everything else done that leads up to it? Can I do that? lol
  2. Talk to ppl, its gonna cost round 5k to turbo it...so not gonna worry, keeping it N/A with some decent mods.
  3. A supercharger aye...Well answering the first questions, I want the car for street and show, and I just want enough power to keep up with a few newer cars, but not to fussed. Can you tell me more about the supercharger idea RT? Like how much is would cost roughly, advantages, disadvantages?
  4. Thought bout sr20det...realised the cost of it...fainted, then disregarded it lol. Im turning towards keeping the 2L me thinks...Like bullit said, can get enough power out of it to hold my own and make it sound good.
  5. 7500?! Im scared to take it past 5000 coz it sounds like the sucker is gonna blow lol, and it redlines at 6...
  6. Lol, im not putting an rb26dett in it lol, as much as i would like. I dunno wat my budget is...im just open to watever at the moment and will see if its worth it etc..I dont wanna spend to much, but yea, i wana see wats out thr and get some advice etc.
  7. OK I have seriously been thinking of two options for the capri, I want to do a turbo conversion (different engine) but I know it will cost a LOT, and on the other hand wondering if I should just do some work to the current 2L in it, what are your opinions on this? Because I honestly have no idea..
  8. I just wanted to do it to be different really and change the interior round, since im using it for shows and stuff, but dunno bout tht idea now, mite just take it out and do sumthin like RT with the subs...who knows, altho the reshping with foam is quite cool
  9. Thanks for the input, and now you mentioned it escort boy, i hadnt really considered space, and once the seats r in there will be fuck all leg room :S But RT I like ur idea about the whinging back seat divers and ripping the back seat out, have u done this, if so wat did you put in thr?
  10. I was thinking about pulling out the bench style seat in the capri and putting in two bucket seats in the rear just to be a lil different, how would I go about making them stay in place, would i need rails? or just bolt them to the floor?? Let me know if you think this is a good or bad idea.
  11. That last silver one looks sick, just put some real rims on it and ur away, im sure you will have yours up to a standard that high if not higher paul, judging by ur last car anyway

  13. Just ordered sum camber bolts, so they will do the trick nicely now.
  14. Universal...I have seen these, would they work on a capri? Coz these are meant for newer jap cars, well the ones i have seen are neway, unless ur tlaking about another one?
  15. Thanks, chucked them a email, see how i get on.
  16. spacers r dodgey, they can equal snapped bolts But yea pushrod...do you have any idea where you went to get these priced, coz no1 here in Blenheim seems to know anything...typical.
  17. Ok well I now have lowered the capri a LOT. However i was expecting the wheels to camber slightly but they stayed absolutly vertical. I have asked shops about getting negative camber put on the front wheels, to get like say adjustable camber at the top, they seem to basically give me the answer "it requres to much work, and will cost a lot". Ok well my question is, why cant you get a universal camber plate (like adjustable one), and and slap it on top, with minor modification? Could somebody explain why you cant (can mayb?) do this? Also I have recently put adjustable coilovers in the front of the capri also, now these have proved good BUT they cannot wind all the way down becoz the two pieces that you use to adjust the height get in the way of the tyre about mayb 1 inch, a bit less possibly away from the bottom of the thread. they are about 5mm ish to big, so you can only wind down to about 2mm from the inside of the tyre (whr it curves from the tread and then down vertically into the rim). This leaves, like i said before, about an inch of thread to go, so can anyone thing of a way that this could be fixed? And no I dont want to get skinnier rims/tyres.

    Headlights...

Yea all fixed now...was sumthing to do with the switch

    Headlights...

Well after getting caught in the hail at like 12pm in chch the other weekend, my headlights decided to stop working, it was such a convienent time but yea they stopped working after the hail bashed the car and now they dont work and I cant get them working, the fuses are all fine. If I pull the "indicator stick" towards me (full beam) they will go on but you have to hold them on but then if you push it forward which makes the full beam stay on then they dont, and also the switch for the lights dont work, dash lights dont work either. Its the car in my sig. 72' Mk1 Ford Capri.
  20. I have a carbon fibre 4" RAGE muffler and i think it suits the car well, sounds good too, doesnt drone.
