the que to stop being a nancy was looking at a brand spankers marine engine with a supercharger+serp belt+manual tensioner, and that shit was sooooo tight / guitar b string level

just wire it without the cap and give it a kick to get it going in the desired direction

I'm not very familiar with the attached connection, (this is a home job), and I need to disassemble it

How do you think I get the pipe out? I removed the nuts and slid the compression "anvil" out, however I reached a uncomfortably high level of aggression trying to then slide hammer the pipe out,

assuming it's just a lip on the end of the pipe and years of rock hard rope packing holding it in place?
