Get something you won't mind dropping. That way you can learn all the dos and don't without worrying about your bike. I played around on a mates hyosung gt250 then got a Kawasaki gpx250 for myself. Honda vtr250 always gets a good recommendation for learners but are a bit pricey as a result. Pretty safe with a 250cc 4 stroke twin, will be nice and smooth and keep up with 100km traffic. New LAMs list opens up a whole lot more options than you used to have though!
Edit: just opened the list, sooooo many options!

Tom speaks the truth. Bad pic but at the revival all the old cars get priority parking near the event. Stretches almost as far as the eye can see and you can see some awesome cars when wondering through. Dunno if its the same at FoS but I would imagine yes

I trained last year, expected massive queues but there was virtually none. Sharp left out of Chichester station for buses that are running constantly, have cash ready for ticket.
Go to Revival aswell, they are two totally different experiences!

On topic, I am sure this has been discussed on OS before and last time someone found a website dedicated to manifold cooking recipes
edit: maybe it was a book http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1662735.Manifold_Destiny

I've done this with a garlic bread in its tinfoil straight on the exhaust. Nothing caught fire and g.bread was tasty.

Easy enough to hook up speakers prior to install and put on your favourite song, then you could listen with them exposed/wrapped in headlining to compare the difference. I used to cover my 6x9s in a blanket cause it improved the sound IMO, was nothing fancy mind you.

Can take out the solenoids and clean the mesh filters out. Reassemble then take it for a dort. Should pop hard. Worked for my civic
