^ what Goat said.
My sister has a similar one, might be prefacelift in the same blue. Had annoying issue with occupancy sensor in the seat cushion failing causing an airbag light on the dash and a wof fail. Apparently very common on this era Suzuki's and some cars even being written off as a result, which seems bonkers. Chucked a resistor in there to trick the sensor which seemed to be the recommended fix found online.

It has same driveline as aqua, but more conventional looking body/interior. Has the essentials but otherwise they are pretty no frills. Mine is 14 model before the facelift, it's a high spec one so has alloys an smart locking etc plus comfy as front seats. Feels quite narrow, good for city but we generally opt for the Accord when heading out of town.
Mean gas usage but tbh if you could work with an EV then I'd go straight for that

I'm averaging 4.4L/100km city driving in fielder. Daily route is hilly an only short which doesn't help my numbers. Oil change shortly, what grade are people putting in their aqua race motors? 0w20 the go?
Need to pump up the tyres to Max an do a fresh polish

I feel like it fits in there too well, the uninformed may think it is stock or some off the shelf part and not truly appreciate the effort you have gone to here. B+

Ok spam gurus.
The wifs 09 Accord started blaring the horn constantly all by itself yesterday morning. I would have been impressed if it wasnt raining and I was in my pjamamas.
Stopped when I put the key in and turned to ACC or maybe ON. I gave the horn relay a jiggle and same for the steering wheel button then went and had my breakfast only for it to happen again. I have since pulled the fuse to silence it, and put a new relay in just in case the existing one failed. Any other ideas? I am reluctant to put the fuse back in and have it go off while I am not around.
Not too keen to go messing with the steering wheel due to airbag bits but is it likely the clockspring could be shorting something.

Used my old man's Bunnings one til it got recalled. He replaced with a Tuff Trailer. Has tipper but I've never bothered/needed to use it. Cage is great to have. The one on the Tuff Trailer is a bit bowed and fiddly to get on an off, has to be correct side for holes to line up etc. Latches for front an rear gates can be pretty stiff also, trailer probably not very square but otherwise great for general use.
I'd want timber base, removable cage, gates that lower to flat to extend the deck, well protected lights, good tiedown points etc etc

Quick Q.
Rear brake pads have a 3 prong clip that goes inside the Piston. I see lots of replacements without this clip. Assuming it is fine without but wanted to check. Mainly so I can purchase pads from Rock Auto at a fraction of the price

Hi Dave, could this be the beginning of an NZ race series for Echo/Yaris/Vitz. If so, I approve. Please respond with graphs

This question was asked a month back and after 20 pages the OP concluded that you need to stretch your budget to 15k and get a Hyundai Santa Fe?

Oh man, imaging having to open the engine internals, walk in the park after this level of clever custom fabrication work
