  1. Focking 1g FTL hard took so long to get out, pics are self explanatory, just put motor in for trial fit without box and fits on mounts sweet. Then mounted up gearbox which came out sweet and in a good spot. Need to put in clutch/brake pedal and the lines for slave then ill put v8 back in again for its final resting spot and start doing all the fiddly stuff and send away for wiring and exhaust. Also LOL at my laptop on my new 42' plasma. Huge pr0n ftw More progress next week
  2. Just a quickie put box on tonight as there are no holes for clutch slave so getting that drilled and tapped tomorrow, everything spigots in well so all is good for going in this weekend!

Complete with ecu and loom Motor awaiting my flywheel coming back from having ringgear sweated on. Exedy and Cressida, bringing you sweet skids....in the future... Really just waiting on my manual stuff from myk00l and w57 box being sent up by dude in CHCH should be here early next week. Then I should be ready to take out 1g and put lexus in which will be sweeet. Then fiddle around with the little bits and pieces and send away to have wiring and exhaust done. Oh and still trying to find an altezza lsd. Progresssing!!!
  6. Sweet project man, any particular reason for the 6 spd auto? Would you not be spending almost the same on manual conversion? Way to be different but just wondered what your basis was for the 6 spd slug. Keep it up man.

  14. Yeah confused me, where hes adding uz to the code means his custom mounts, but just wondering whats going to fit best in mine.... since mine is neither 73 or 61 its gx71...
  15. Assuming beemer sells next week ill have the cash to do it, so wouldnt expect more than a a couple months but who knows with these things. At this stage its looking like an easy conversion, assuming i get the mounts side of thing sorted. There are a number of cressidas with 1uz around the world and a reasonable amount of knowledge, especially on this guys site (who im getting mounts from) about his cressy 1uz conversion http://conceptual.net.au/~peewee/ I want to try and do as much as i can with this so might take me a little bit to get my head round it but we'll see.
  16. Yuh springs round axles ftl. Also ftl is 1g with a miss. Like cant even be bothered looking into why its missing. Can you even sell 1g's for money? Cant wait to have it out.

  18. Roffle wouldnt say heaps, and cant be focked with FI on this project, maybe cams or the m90 blower setup that a1 turbos is finished up r&d on at the moment... Will get it going in skidable form first and then roffle from there.

The only thing worse than driving an auto 1G from hamilton to aucks is driving an auto 1g from hamilton to aucks with a fucking miss and an auto box that wouldnt go into overdrive. Was epic roffles. Anyway heres some pics before i start 1uz project. I think its pretty tidy for what i paid for it. No rust, good paint, good skid rims, interior in good nick etc. Pics boes... Huge boot for all my NAWS /nah Plans are, Get stupid 1g out Do manual conversion with w55 box Collect all 1uzfe stuff over next few weeks including new fly +bell from a1 turbos Get mounts from auz that bolt into cressys saving me 20709273423 hours and moneys Custom extractors, sweet straight exhaust with two muffs back to two straight pipes Using standard computer, being wired by brendan at A1 Sort out suspension Do epic skids. Thats the plans anyway. Discuss.
  21. The rt40 or the cressy? The rt40 is light blue and in the mount... Cressy is white.

  23. Sweet saved to watchlist. See if i can get it cheep. Is the whole 1g to 1ggte swap relatively straight foward? I assume mounts are same? Also need to do manual conversion. Anyone done this? Think jebus did on his old one....
