I want to run a red, blue and green led off the same 9v power source. Given that they are all different voltage drop and mA ratings, I am going to run each led and suitable resistor as seperate assemblies, then connect the assemblies in parallel.
My question is regarding where the + of each assembly connects to... Does it run back to the power source, or simply from the + leg of the LED assembly preceding it?
LED ratings are
1 x red @ 2.1v drop and 50mA
1 x Blue @ 3.2v and 30mA
1 x green @ 3.5v and 30mA

^^^Made me think of this

Might be worthwhile making this unsticky? I don't even look at stickied threads whatsoever anymore, even the title. Just an idea

Exact example of wheels plus slam working

Hey dweebs, gonna get my noob bike license once I get job. What would you lot recommend for an entry level motorbike for a combo of city hooning and a bit of open road shit. Are 250s really capable of open road? Ie: could I cane to Hamilton if I really needed to?
Budget of 3k max, preferably less.

One inch difference is surely possible, you don't have to respray the whole car if you fuck with the guards.
-
Sweet, steels are choice
Tidy up lip and needs subtle sideskirts or something, otherwise I wouldn't change much externally.
-
Paint that front guard! Looks rad lower. You do a good job with your cars.
-
Look up Sika products too. Dunno about pricing, but they do a metric fuck ton of stuff that could be sweet.
I'd definitely paint it, seems silly to make such a big investment and then not bother, even if it's just an aesthetics thing generally. A properly painted floor will be way easier to keep clean around where you work too.

Shit this looks good, just need to sort out that ridiculously clashing interior scheme and not airbrush anything anywhere plus those rims and it'll be nicely done indeed.
-
Yeah I know a past owner, back in about 06-07. He lowered it and put the rims on and I think threw an L28 or some such in it. Never really saw it thrashed or damaged, was always a cruiser that I saw. Needs a paint job, that colour is awful
-
Paint rear bumper and lower doors up to strip same as front imo. Needs something on the rear, looks a bit plain? Any of these have some sort of subtle spoiler?
Looking good though

Running a fine line between looking good and looking a bit crass with some of those under bonnet mods imo. Such a rad little car, almost deserves to be rebuilt to stock, pretty hard to find these days. Water in radiator is probably rusty because it doesn't have any anti-freeze or rust inhibitor shit in it, just water. Empty it out and run a hose backwards through the system to flush it out is usually the go I think. Also, I think RVR i/c is slightly different in regards to inlet/outlet sizing and locations? Fuel will know.
Good luck

From a view to aesthetics, I'd say it certainly needs to go lower, but if it aint functional and you're driving it a bit then stick with what you have. Would look sweet another inch or so down.
How close are the various undercarriage/exhaust bits to the road?
-
Are the rims 15s?
these would have come stock with 14s yes? And monster spec tyres? Maybe someone can do the calcs for ratios, but I can't see how that 10% would work out?
Can get speedo recalibrated anyway. Or sell those, get narrower but more legit rims and slam equal amounts.
-
Those tyres are rude as bro.
I'd say sell the sportmaxx stuff and see if you can find decent knock offs. Seem to be shitloads on tardme

I'm claiming mild boso term
This reminds me of that crown with the tap gear shifter that used to be on here.
IMO you're better off keeping things stock instead of doing a half-assed job. Just pop some small diameter wheels on it and slam it, can't go wrong.
-
So needs to be lower in the front man, but damn those wheels look rad
-
Dude, just biff anything you want in there. The council won't know/care once it's signed off.
Fuck them and their rules!

Awesome update. Congrats
-
Semantics really, but yeah true
-
Bummer they didn't weatherboard all the way up, gable end cladding is odd.
Looks good though man, coming together sweet.

Shoulda rolled a sweet LVL beam or a PFC lintel and had one massive opening
Door woulda been lol
