Update. Went and seen Blaine and dropped the wheels off. Name dropped and not sure if I got a sick deal but certainly very cheap. They are coming back in expoxy… so now the question is what to paint them with… not sure even what color I want them… would prefer something a bit funky like a hydro dip or something… any surgestions? Or is a basic silver/black the best. The factory wheels are an off white/cream type Color but again not sure if I can find a cheap solution?
I’ll rattle can em if I have too haha
recomendations?

Ok so I've watched a million youtube videos and looked at prices and things and the option I'm going for with my ke70 dash is:
The factory vinyl has cracked like an eggshell, so I've chipped most of this off. My old man is a boat builder and has suggested covering the foam in resin to seal it and give the bog something to stick to. From there I will fill any imperfections with bog and either paint it with black "bedliner" for a textured black finish, or a cabinet maker friend of mine is really tempted to help make a box that we can vacuum some black vinyl over it with.
Any recommendations of vids that are like... yes that will work... my front screen is out and have been envisioning myself leaning filling with bog and trying to sand it back better than what it was....
Id love to replicate what the pros are doing to fix these....

With the new holiday I might have a crack at one myself to see if I can get them looking tidy...(im not liking my chances tho, but nothing really but time to lose)
With keyphos 253 does this come in a can, or should I just grab a general epoxy primer?
Cheers Team, lots of good feedback/ideas.

Hey team,
Have a set of 13s off an old rally car that have had the centers flipped and have a much better looking offset, they are very stone chipped and worn (as to be expected) and im wondering what the best option to refresh these are?
I thought about getting them sand blasted and powder coated, but a few years back the price wasn't very attractive, so I can only imagine its worse now, so its likely cheaper for me to buy a blast cabinet and have a go myself, im wondering if there are any budget alternatives? What have you done? etc
Or is there anyone in the industry that can point me at a perk job/somewhere I could do it myself, im always keen to learn so happy to do a days labor (say blasting) to pay for a service (blast and coat my wheels etc)
Thanks

Hi Team
Dunno if this is the correct place to put this but have a couple 1-2mm spots of rust coming thru and I’m sure there will be more underneath. Wondering if there is any recommendations for fair pricing or someone who would do it as a cashie?
It in the top of the a pillar but I can get windscreen taken out as it’s not glued in etc - had rust done a few years back at the bottom of the a pillar.
Alternatively if anyone has a shed and can teach me ( happy to pay or ensure beers flow etc) I have a mig welder with gas but it came with no wire and recent separation means no shed and a lot of stuff in storage in Dunedin means I don’t know what wire would be suitable etc etc
edit: I can do all the finishing. Just need cut and paste job on the shit 80’s metal.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Hi Guys,
Had a visor stolen off the front of my car, likely happened between 10th Jan and today, Its alloy and has chrome brackets, it has faded light green paint on the underside, it has 3 cap nuts and one bolt so its very recognizable, doubt this will come back only likely to appeal to someone with an old school car, keep ya eyes peeled.
Will report to police but likely to be so low on their priorities it will disappear of the radar pretty quick.
Hopefully the post below shows the photo.
Cheers

Would you Guy’s still put felt down in between the sound deadening and carpet or will only carpet over top of sound deadening alone be sufficient?
