..or it’s because people have seen what idiots in Nz will pay for non rx early Mazda’s. After that 808 sold for $70k the other day seems people have realised the value in selling.

Also this guy must be jumping on the bandwagon after seeing the other one sell for $70k a couple of days ago. People spending that much on an 808 is beyond me.

My parents were in the same dilemma considering MG, Kia stonic, Mitsubishi asx etc but convinced them to go with a one owner, low km, Nz new Mazda cx-3. Great little car and much more refined than the prior options. Yay for conventional trans too. Maybe CVT have come a long way but I just don’t like the way they drive myself. Need to feel the gear changes.

Hey man really appreciate the regular updates on your project. I’m sure if it was a POS micra the geriatrics on here would like it too. Keep it up mate. 

They’re growing in looks and appeal the older they get. New Z should be a weapon when it comes out.

Yours looked a better car too Flauski. I thought the prices of these older cars would’ve declined or stayed stagnant with the new demand for 80s and 90s Japanese vehicles. Nz prices do seem crazy though. As with the housing prices there too like you say. Will these bubbles ever burst there? Hard to tell.

Are these people serious? It’s a cool car but $50k? As if fake rx's couldn’t be worth more. I’ve never understood the attraction to these. Yeah they’re lightweight blah blah blah but $50k? I’d stretch the budget another $10k and buy an r35 gtr. 

I remember years ago the Rock radio station created this thing. I thought it actually looked decent, sacrilege maybe.. Anyone have any info on where it is now or what it’s demise was? 

I like that man. Always liked the dashes in the left hook sev’s. I’m no expert but don’t think they were like that in any rhd model. Good score!

Anyone paying more than $30k for a non genuine rx is an idiot. The calibre of cars you can get in Nz for less than that is ridiculous. Cue AMG e55. Supercharged v8, nearly 500hp with a special plaque for under $20k. 

Get a cheap one and enjoy it. Rotaries are the most overpriced vehicle in Nz these days. They’re good but so overrated. Anything 90s with 4age is good value for buck

Yeah man that’s the route I’m thinking of taking. Not keen to touch the guards if they’re unrolled to fit wider wheels. Will post up some more pics of condition when it arrives. Cheers for the feedback.
