I saw some 4x100 raiders on Market place some time ago so they do exist.

Could do day cruise to museum if happening. Auckland events mean min of 4 hrs driving for me so tend not do many. There used to be os Waikato meets and I went to a few but I think maybe it's CJC now or something idk. Someone can probably fill you in on that , I think it's organised through Facebook now.

Yeah, put the old radiator in and perform a stationary cooling system test and it should be sweet, just remember to film it.

Probably would be better to go rover V8 over 308 just because they are far more common these days. Datsun parts/engines in general are getting expensive, would make the suggestion if you were to go that way look at the d21/Navara engine perhaps, a z16 even should be around 100hp and shouldn't be hard to find. Maybe the viva breaks and diff would be up to it, I don't really know. Lots of great engines out there.

Been waiting to see how those hoses work, quite surprised those clips can hold. I assumed ac ran at high pressure but I guess it's similar to an air compressor.
