Ah okay, you can get them with headrests. Maybe that would be the best option.

I didn't think there would be an issue using them on the road? Something I should look into before going any further! Cheers guys!

Hi all!! Just wondering if anybody can identify this carb? It's currently on a 1300cc viva but Its not standard and was fitted by a previous owner. It's possibly off a Ford? And as a bonus question because the air filter housing has been removed I have a rubber hose coming from the oil filler cap to nothing, what happens with this? Is it the crankcase breather? Do I put one of those little filters on it?
As always all help is appreciated! Here's the pics:

I want it safe, but doesn't need to be over the top. A cut off switch would be good to stop fuel going everywhere in an emergency.
It's for a humble 1256cc vauxhall viva, not a performance machine just yet! -
Doe's anybody have a definitive wiring diagram for fitting an electric fuel pump?
Its my first time getting involved with electrics and there are heaps of different wiring diagrams on the internet and I am now confused. If someone has a diagram and easy to follow guide it would be much appreciated!
its for vauxhall viva. -
Nice, so handy for people without a garage! Im heading there today to poke more holes in the vauxhall! Glad you found it!!

I changed the fuel filter about a month ago. It's a 2.2 petrol. I have a new fuel pump tho I'm not sure that it is the correct one as I can't see a mechanical pump in the engine bay? I have a few basic tools I could possibly get to nelson tho I'm a bit nervous about driving to far

Hi, perhaps this is a long shot, but I am currently stuck in picton, my car (Mazda b2200) is stalling at idle and is surging at revs. I was supposed to be heading north tonight but I managed to change my crossing to tomorrow evening. I can drive the car but it's really not right. And didn't want to get stranded up north is there any kind Christmas spirited soul who could help with diagnosing the problem or even fix it? Beers cash and my eternal gratitude for anyone that can save my holiday, also I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section, I can be contacted on 0273995519 if it is easier, thank you. I can drive so can come to you.

Anything else you want to add: The forum looks great, user friendly and a wealth of knowledge, if any one is hoarding HC viva parts hit me up also keen to meet some like minded people at local meets!

Firstly I apologies for the not
I was driving today and the revs dropped to zero and with a few pumps of the accelerator it goes back to where it was. it causes the car to lurch.
I found a video on youtube that shows what is happening (obviously a different make and model) any ideas as to what would cause this?the car is a 1993 mazda b2200 running a carb
Thanks David
