Have got a set of L9 GSXR1000 wheels into my SRAD 750. Need a set of discs for the front, but the rear is ready to roll. Rear saved 1.4kg

Has anyone seen a 4 into one throttle body clamp similar to this? Looking for one for my SRAD 750. The combination of steering damper, airbox, and carb mods have made the stock setup difficult to access. Alternatively, if I can get a very long screw made, I could mod the original clamps to work through the RH hole in the frame

Has anyone here ever put lightweight wheels onto a bike? I have a 96 GSXR750 track bike which I occasionally run in pre95, and the wheels are as heavy as anchors. Would love to hear anyone's real world experience. Can't decide whether to look at Carbon Fibre, Magnesium, forged Aluminium, or just a later set of stock GSXR wheels. Any option would need discs and sprocket carrier to match

Are all die grinders crazy air hungry?
I got a Ryobi one and it is rated for something like 4 cfm at 90psi. My compressor, tested at 9.3cfm at 90psi, can't keep up with the bastard at all
Sorry, very slow reply.
How many horsepower do you need? How much do you want to spend?

Recommend me a tablet plz
Need one for work. Will be used daily a lot,
will keep many photos on it
Needs to be big like a4 sheet size
Need to be able to write on the screen with a pen thing (stylus?)
Needs to be reasonably tough /drop proof
Android would be preferable
I daily a Microsoft Surface Pro 2 with a hard case and keyboard. It's mint, similar environmental conditions to you. If you're working with it, and have Microsoft on your main computer it keeps everything easier and more professional than swapping between Android and MS. Apple can get fucked

I got out for a play at Puke, got pole in post classic, but then couldn't use it as I broke the gearbox in the first superbike race

Making the most of Puke while it's still operating, and took my SRAD 750 out for a shakedown on Sunday. Was great fun, fixed a couple of small issues, and found lots of room for improvement. Pretty sure I'll do a club round in September running in modern, and pre-95 classes. Haven't raced since 2008, so that'll be a bit of a wake up
Also, work truck makes a mean race truck Action photo- 10

Low throttle openings ruin volumetric efficiency. I'd rather ride a 600 fast on the road than ride a 1000 fast on the road

We had Marvics on the Budget GSXR1100 that Holden rode. Aside from the increased grip/speed/handling of the 17's the biggest thing noticed was the drop in chain noise. The Marvic cush drive ran much more accurately- hence quieter.
17s? Blasphemy! 18s are the way of the future!

This is true. How's the front rim for truth ? They bent very easily from new - I probably straightened 3 or 4 back in the day.
That I haven't checked. Would make a great excuse for a set of these if they're not straight

High speed gravity incidents. Being a GSXR, their natural sound is fairing scraping on road. Most who've had a Gixxer have crashed a Gixxer. I've had this one since 08, so the numbers aren't too bad considering.

Bought my wife a new helmet and took her for a ride on the back of the XSR yesterday. First time she has been on a bike since before the kids were born. Oldest one is nearly 17 so a while ago.
First time with a passenger on this bike. It went pretty well with 2 up, only managed to bottom out the suspension once.
Might have to get a bigger bike with a better seat.
Can loan you my 1200 Bandit for a hoon if you want

How big an area do you need? Truck brake pot diaphragms might do the job

Could be a possible. May be in mid-school E46 though

Want to leave the SRAD discs on the original wheels for wets. Centre bore on K9 wheels is bigger, 6 bolt vs 5, different PCD. Way too much fucking around, and likely cheaper just to have new discs (added bonus of thicker Brembo HPK discs)
