Na different again
That trailer in the pics is a chopped up bus if you look closely
The trailer in mot was designed from ground up and started as a set of custom chassis rails
Swamp kauri interior
Was built to go behind a flat nose international fire engine crewcab turned into tractor unit with big v8 diesel
I need to transfer some of my old film to digital and post more pics

Na the kenny near Nelson was rigid truck not semi trailer - nice looking house but bad design - fuck all room in the house for such a big rig
That house trailer in the pic has been around for long time - used to have a cool old long nose Merc for tractor unit

F650 would be my pick for a lams bike.
Had one for a while, loved it.
yes i have one of those but the strangest version the CS belt drive street bike
there is a limit on how long you can stay on a leaners now ? mine has an expiry date
-
LAMS has some good points
You can now ride any of the old 650s (4 strokes ) on a learners
I have not seen a 250 yet that will fit a 6 foot plus person
-
Cant remember actually. Possibly toyota or Mazda. Ask Zebra dude or some wrecker fella.. they'll know.
That rad hose T piece is a Mazda one
Cos I have one here

-
Ah ok
I scored a 30$ old laptop with serial port and windows xp version that will actually read the help files that have more details than the basic instructions
So hard to get any info on these

Ok, I have given up on my stinger and am now looking at a link atom. Where is the best place to buy from or are they all the same/go for the cheapest?
Ok I am scared now - what made you give up on the stinger ?
Also link atom 950ish on tardme no loom

I have a trade card
Just takes a friendly sca worker to fill out the form on computer takes about 2 minutes
Bingo trade deals
Could do it at any store maybe even online
Do we have resident OS Super cheap dudes?

-
Go have a fondle of them
The sca one will feel flimsy and shit
Also the retards at Bunnings have rollcabs on special catalogue too
I am also looking at buying something like this
-
I need to watch the whole shaker run movie now after seeing that bit
What year is it from? I have a set of those autosport nz bucket seats
-
Yep keen to see
Truck trailer and digger combo
-
Yep all that
Taillight and reflectors same spec as heavy truck code
15ton digger on 4 axle is close to max weight by the time you have a couple of spare buckets and stuff esp if the digger has had a blade added to it
I know our supposed 14 t is right on max on our 4axle

What's the go with using wheel PCD adaptors with alloy wheels that use shank nuts ?
Everything I read says tapered nuts locating adaptor to hub and tapered nuts locating wheel onto adaptor
Are shank nuts ok on adaptors ?
Or do I need wheel centring adaptor centric ring gizmos as well?
Is countersinking old alloy wheels to run tapered nuts as dodgy as it seems ?
-
Mx5s have a splined steel universal on steering shaft may fit rx2
-
You can probably get one with alloy top and bottom tanks as well for not much more from Fenix or Redline
Genuine Toyota one is probably made in China or Indonesia by now anyway

it would look neat poking out the sides with the engine covers off
they dont look that huge, the floor is just plywood anyway so dont squash my dreams so soon
Trying to picture where the supercharger would end up
I remember it being in a different place to the engine in that video
Will have gorse bash sometime and measure/ pics
As for the noise yeah it's like bagpipes they sound better travelling away from you a speed
Earmuffs essential but the little old Thames truck with tractor engine had a harsher knock

i would like to put it in my q15
Lol too heavy
And too wide for the bonnet
They are almost chassis to chassis in full size truck
Maybe mid engine it would fit - they are very low only the rotary style injector pump sticks above the chassis rails
CheapAss poms just used a 6 cylinder pump and left half the guts out and blocked the holes
-
Yes there somewhere in the gorse
No cab
Trying to find the pre digital photos from when it was being driven around with 2 seat almost a windscreen some wood to mount headlights on and a big Mercedes grill tacked on the front
Sounded choice when first liberated from a swamp with no exhaust or air cleaner on the supercharger
Oh the shit we used to get away with down here in the backwoods

^ On the Wet coast?
Yep
The wooden house is farked and rotten but the loft is protecting the cab
The truck is in quite good nick considering and reasonably rare now
Not many long nose comet trucks around - plenty of buses
It was running sweet but died on the recovery mission - got a big tractor to tow it up the hill
Will prob get restoed with a dirty jap diesel in it
Till then it can sit next to 2 bedfords a ford an Isuzu and a ts3 commer engine and chassis
My brothers retirement home for sad and lonely old trucks

Cool old truck thread for them that like old trucks.....
