So I've put in a 7k into a little starlet, managed to get it running with an old carb that pissed fuel into the holes, went well but ran like shit after trying to give it some.
Put on a better condition 32/36 and runs beautifully but slow, since I'm new school(young cunt), just know the basics of carbs and the headers have a hole for an O2 sensor, I'm pretty keen to get technical and see what the engine is consuming and what it wants more of.
Question is what's a good kit to buy? What are other people using and recommend? Sensors and places to stay away from?

Up in the beautiful Hawkes Bay I spotted a few interesting autos, and a token boganized mk2 escort I didn't get time to snap
This Supra was parked at a mechanics and had just got a wof, I got asked if I could be helped with the car and had a chat about who owned it and the mechanic warned me it was a piece of shit with every gasket leaking, just a typical 5mge then!

aint even gonna take the valves out, just skim that shit and smash it back on.
Valves are meant to be taken out for a skim?

On the subject of painting garage floor, at work we recommend to clients getting marine grade carpet instead of paint, the only maintenance is give it a vacuum or brush. Speaking to people who have switched from painted floor to carpet thoroughly rate it, makes internal access garages nicer too and there's sfa price difference

When I last bought tyres new I went through Mag and Turbo, they said they don't usually order in tyres and trial fit, but they had same sizes in the shop and did a trial fit for me
(That was with an "illegal" 175/60 on 6.5")

Very nice paint and colour, is it the factory colour code? I've only ever seen one factory green starlet in the wild. You can get some sweet diecasts that are green bugeyes in 1/43 and 1/64 too
-
Fun time sifting through junk and then chilling out at the OS camp, I think I left behind a green water bottle if anyone picked it up?
-
Not sure if I should take the bugeye and help fill up the display site or the van for taking home loot....

+1 for C-thru, I used it after the water spots were driving me mad and I wanted new looking glass, fucking rate it

This might help with your lowering, I found f-all information on cobra superlows-Kyb short shocks when I was looking:
Wheels are 14x6.5 +11 (iirc)
Tyres 175/60 ZE912 ("illegal stretch" according to nzta but not falken)
I get rub on the front hard cornering but that's against one of the bolts holding in the inner fender guards completely factory
Let me know if you want any measurements, I'm looking at going 13x6 less offset and ~20mm lower

I'm loving the updates and standard of work/photos, makes me aspire to taking more time doing things and being fussier working on my kp

I think NickJ has a tow bar on his lada, but it has one of the silly old round light connectors so would need an adapter?

Would a 30/32 DMTE Weber downdraft carburettor suit a mildly worked 4K? Couldn't seem to find much on google about them
My limited experience with webers is to go for one that is still easy to get parts for (32/36's are still being made) I would ring up weber specialists or local dealer and ask if they still have parts for it to make it work on a 4k
/I came across a weber, took it into the shop and was told I had an "orphan" very hard to find parts for, spend money on one that's still supported

I didn't know they asked us to leave.. Must have looked like a rough bunch with my old lump of rolling rust

How many cb radios will be around? i'm hoping to have one sorted this week, anyone else in the slow-voy?
Is there much to setting it up with aerial length? I'm interested in getting one for lolz

I'm not sure if this is "spotted" or left to rot, I'm going for the latter because it didn't seem to be a happening project.
I'm very curious as to what it is... AC Cobra kit car?
