Ok I’m ready to be schooled, Tesla’s why wouldn’t you consider a couple year old model 3?
Ive never had nor driven an ev but these seem to have most things going for them and can be had at mid $40’s? Thoughts opinions other options etc welcome.
Also if it been covered already send me a link cheers all

If your serious about wanting load rated springs for this I would suggest you see Brent at ARB highbrook he would point you in the right direction for sure
-
Do they still fit on a trailer hub/ Trojan stuff do you know?
-
On a side note anyone got any ideas on how to keep track of trailer mileage with a gps unit or any other ideas? We tow a couple of trailers very regularly but with different vehicles so find it hard to keep on top of maintenance and checks on them as there is no accurate way of knowing how much use they are getting

@kempy send us a pm and I’ll get some pictures through on a couple we can do a deal with

So a double drawer or one big drawer with a shelf that’s fixed above it?
We have a couple at my work

What region are you based in also?

What kind of drawers do you want and or mean?
Watch out for the weight on some of the units out there also

I have driven all the new Utes top picks would be hilux ranger Colorado dmax that's in no particular order.
if you tow lots the ranger is a nice option.
-
All of the facelifts have been done on the main brands now. Only Renault and Mercedes to come both based off the Nissan chassis
-
They all have their own issues.
most of these new Utes will have an egr fault have seen this in hilux, Ford Mazda, Colorado etc. if your towing lots and lug a bit of weight I'd rule out the navara, it is a comfortable ute but the springs a very soft in them. The Mazda can be a bit the same when hauling some weight.
The smack has just been upgraded so not sure how that will now stack up with its. We gearbox and euro 5 emissions gear...

Yea I have had my Panasonic for 7+years in a trade application using everyday never failed me and batteries are still mint! Old boss got 9 out of his before the drill itself was toast
-
I really rate my Panasonic gear batteries last for ever only thing is they are expensive and not as many other tool options as some other brands.
Mate is a tractor mech and he swears by his Milwaukee driver also

I work in the ute accessory business so have driven and fit most products to all of these vehicles.
The main thing you need to know BoE work out is what you are going to do the majority of the time with this vehicle, just drive to and from work unladen, tow things, have it loaded up with gear, or just carry the odd thing in the weekend.
I had an 06 hilux for 6 years 2wd job it was a sweet ute put 180km on it in my time never did anything but maintain it in that time no complaints.
We had the previous generation ranger pre2011 that went well but started having issues around the 180km mark

Sweet so if we put some plates in it may need cert if the warrant guy picks it up otherwise just need to make it look factory?

Hi there, I have a mk1 escort that we have done some rust repair work on and part of that we replaced the drivers and passenger floors in doing so the original mount points have been removed. Is it now just a case of bolting the seats through with some appropriate sized plates and 10mm bolts? What does it need legally?
-
Could be interested in some for my mk1 escort
-
So as always the more you look at them and then the more you spend the better the car in theory right?
Rust is the main issue with them right?
But a good example is nice to drive and get around in, any particular motor worse then others?

Hi All.
As you may have guessed I am looking for any information on the w108 Mercedes as in experiences with them what typically goes wrong things to look out for etc etc any help is appreciated
-
Cheers for the info guys, shaneo why do you recommend the ashley law ones if it's for track work? Too noisey for the road?
-

Thanks for the intel, I’d never heard of the tail lights being an issue before us that a common thing or?
I did think about the warranty I mean it is under the usual 100k that you would expect elsewhere.
What are the other options that come to mind if not Tesla at a similar spec or capability?
