  1. So as a little side project to be added to the skoda, I had a brilliant idea of how to use a retro radio but still a modern headunit (details in the build thread after plans are drawn up). If searched Google etc but I can't find much, so does anyone know what make or models of radio could have been fitted aftermarket to a nz registered car between 1970 and 1980?
  2. Got bored, decided to go to lyttleton. Ended up having a horn fight with a ke30 with airhorns and a model T with a period ouGa horn in the tunnel. Best horn fight ever, 10/10 would fight again

  6. Why not put the bugeye on a trailer and tow it with the van? Then you have a display AND room for loot
  7. I might hit up the swapmeet. Keep an eye out for a lost looking guy wearing a beanie and possibly gloves May possibly be followed/following a chick with blond hair, black highlights, and bright blue tips
  8. Thanks for the advice on the rust spots guys, ill have a look when i get a chance as for the engine, i might know someone who can do stronger gaskets, as i really really want ti keep it as factory as possible And as for having seen it on facebook, thats where i found it, and i fell in love with it (LOL last time i fell in love at first sight i ended really really badly so lets hope that this time is alot better. it should be, its a car and not a chick this time :D ) and as i have stated, i havn't made the swap yet as i have no tow car till next weekend. i can get a trailer no problem tho (Im in rangiora, its in cromwell...)
  9. My plans for the are tskodao keep it as original as possible, a full factory-spec restoration, but with a colour change to the factory green, with a laqour coat to make it shine and stand out, any suggestions are welcome tho, just put them in the discussions thread
  10. I managed to make a straight swap deal, I gotta go pick it up next weekend as my tow vehicle is in the garage at the moment IF the Christchurch division wants I could maybe trailer it to the next meet for an inspection
  11. Rust pics, mostly surface rust but bonnet and roof seem to have semi-structural rust in them: Roof surface rust Roof semi-Structural rust Bonnet semi-Structural rust
