What's dubious about driving a Marina fast? Grandpa's one went pretty hard back in the day.

Raspberry Pi as a stand alone ecu controlled/accessed by your phone.. now that would be interesting..
Sounds like a recipe for disaster to my old fashioned mind.

I'd love to hear one pulling 7000 rpm. An old geezer in ragtop XJS went through a worksite I was on once and nailed the gas at the works end sign. Such a sweet noise.

Even ten years ago there were shitloads of cheap warranted ADO16s around. Now tidy ones are being advertised for silly money.

Those single column hoists just look dangerously unstable to me.

I wouldn't bother with a consent. Even if the floor was good you'd still want to do as 8ball did and cut squares out for huge concrete footings because of the point loadings.

Based on that I should have got a cert on my Civic when I swapped the factory 12" steel rims for 13" steels from a slightly later car.

I believe new galvanised chassis are available ex UK, probably stupidly expensive though.

Farley Street. One of them bears sign writing for Ombrello's Restaurant.

Those Cromodora mags look very cool. A lot like Bathurst Globes.

In the '80s/'90s there was an A40 van called Pussy Chaser in Whangarei. Think it had a 302 Chev in it.

And Penelope Keith playing a very similar character in To the Manor Born. That was gold too.

I remember thinking Felicity Kendall was pretty hot.

What's it in / going to be in?

Would that be a panoramic view?

Is xafordgod still on the tard? Think his real name is Brendan. From Rangiora. Use to have all sorts of different coons and coon stuff. XE might be too new for him though.
Also Hinds Garage (at Hinds in South Canterbury obviously) has a lot of obscure shit that might be hard to find anywhere else. Mostly British but I've seen some coon stuff there. The place is like a cross between a hoarder's house and a museum but everything is for sale.

I have no fucking idea what that last question was about.

Saving for Hanmeet. Anyone else from down this way keen on that one?
Slightly more modern classics coming of age???

I suspect that modern environmental regulations have contributed more to the demise of old style wrecker's yards than the price of land.
