  1. Thats a Mitsubishi sigma herein Australia.

Is it the 2L or 2.6L astron?

Over here they had the old bw35 trans.

But they aso had a "sports" option 2 door sedan called the scorpion. They had a baby torqueflite 904 auto.

So they may be an option in the us?

Mitsi also released a gsr turbo sigma 4 door sedan. They went hard for what they were.

And from memory the early tm-tp? Magna efi heads etc were the go for these things??

  2. Cutting fluid.

Dont forget to use it. Makes a big difference.

But nah even the "expensive" drill bits aren't as good as the old stuff.

Its like something they used to add to the steel (or didn't add??) Was deemed unhealthy? So they stopped or something and now the steel isn't as hard/good.

Had a $50 drill bit (a single bit) and after about 6 or 7 cuts it was virtually dead. Cutting fluid and correct speed used. Was in a drill press, so no weird side loads/angles during drilling either.

After a resharpen it was ok for 2 cuts before needing another sharpen..

  3. Cant say if will help in your scenario.

But when we were left a car to fix and it had the old mag/wheel lock nut and the owner didn't leave/have the key, we loosened all the other nuts on the rim. And then retightened them extra tight.

This would sometimes  (about 60/40) make the lock nut become loose and allow you to remove it with pliers/socket/or even fingers?

Or once i just found a drill bit approx stud sized and drilled the stud through the wheel nut.

When the nut fell off etc i removed the wheel, cleaned up the stud and knocked it out and replaced it

  4. If its a true 550hp engine and has a good matched converter, then the gears will probably fine.

May not be optimal for the strip.

My GT has 2.7's in it from factory. (Has a 6 speed auto too tho) but 1st gear is over way to quick anyway. And is mostly all wheelspin

  5. Ive got a wolf whistle horn and a tarzan horn for shits n giggles.

Also still have my truck horn somewhere.

Used to have that back in my p plate days, scare the shit out of people.

Before that it was on the pushy for when cockheads cut you off. Lol

As for normal horns. I got a set/pair of horns from a WH Statesman. The high and low tones give a decent sound. Not a farty lil meep meep.

  6. Really cant remember brand of my rattle gun. The rivets gave way and the label plate was lost yrs ago. Goes hard tho.

Decided a new one would be nice a few yrs ago.

Had the tool guy bring some in for a demo. Most were useless. But apparently its because my main airline was to small and i needed a better compressor which he could help me out with it all.....

I wasnt that stupid to pay around $2500 to make one of his rattle guns work. My old POS works fine with my setup.

Even showed him. He still refused that the guns he was supplying were worse.

    Nice try.

  7. May be the same here too now.

I haven't had to return any for a while so it could be the same.

They used to do straight exchange.

Still. For the price i can buy 2-3 sets of spanners to 1 snapon etc.

And to be honest stanley seems to have lifted their game on quality from about 15-20yrs ago. When they bought out sidchrome it started getting better.

But thats just one example. I also have a few sca tools etc for different jobs.

My $$$ no longer line the tool truck guys pockets.

  8. Yep tool truck guys are assholes for warranties.

To be honest ive only had to return one item of stanley, a 3/8" ratchet.

Ive lost quite a few tho.

Unsure if i lost them or one of the guys used it and lost it? Either way much cheaper to replace than a snap on  etc

  9. Best brand is the one you can get warranty on easily.

Used to buy snap on and stahlwille  etc from the tool trucks.

But trying to get warranty from them at times was impossible. Or you'd have to wait months for a socket etc. ...

In the end i found cheap ass Stanley from supercrap just as good. And when they broke it was a straight swap for a new one on the spot. No waiting nothing.

When you need your tools everyday you need a warranty you can rely on.

And for the price in able to gave doubles or triples of the tools i use the most so if it breaks (or is lost) i can keep working then deal with warranty after hrs.

  10. Unfortunately there are more rich people than we know out there that have more $$$ than sense.

They will probably buy it cos its "different" and new.

We have a guy that does mustangs near here. Buys shitboxes drops any ford v8 he can find in sprays them bright red and sprays the interior either red white or black and sells them for a fortune.

Fulla bog and problems etc but the rich guys keep buying them
