heres me and my wifes old ambo we picked up from burt watchorns museum in whakatane a few years ago, finally brought it home and put it in the shed, this thred is more of a photo storage as I'm sure nothing will happen to it for a few years. 

am after a cab as the floor is rusty in this one and would be nice to find a good floorpan

its a A110 model.

paid $1000 for it.

could look like this but probably not as flash. and a lot more low

I'm hoping I can put it back on the rd without too much hassle with the plates, rego and id plates, anyone know what issues i would have? 

I mean if i blast and prime it all , fix any rust taking heaps of photos along the way shouldn't be to much of a headache?

i don't want to have to fit seat belts and all that modern stuff

my father in law has 3 nice stewart pick-ups, guess he didn't want 4. he also has a few spares i may have to raid. these things are pretty hard to come by he reckons and thinks there are probably only 20 in nz.

plans are to sand bast everything and get it on the rd as a beater, with a flathead v8 and toyota 5 speed box,

its way too high though..

and it won't happen overnight.

its a colonial cab, no motor. quite complete. 

old guy died and son didn't want it. shed was full of choice shit thats getting thrown out.

has ugly 'aftermarket' front and rear screens, found two old brass front window frames in the shed so il make a new front one

has plates tags and rego stickers.

can put what ever motor you want in it for the period as they came with all sorts, this one is a lowly colonial cab, will prob put a flathead v8 in it for re-vinning

has no motor or box.

could you sway the test also by removing the tray for cert , thereby lightning the overall weight of the vehicle? and thereby running the risk of a rear end lock up

interested to know how you are going to lift the roof? will it be fibreglass or steel etc? do you use the existing roof?

thought the grill looked similar to something else.

I'm after a rear cab of a 20's pickup for a REO 4-door that has rust issues in the rear, want to turn it into a pick-up,front is mint, if anyone comes across one..

will get up a vid in a couple of weeks , have got both brands of saws and both are good, some people get hung up on brands. can't start husky without de-comp button. will have to comp test it. has a 28" bar but could easy run a bigger bar, want a 36" bar with skip tooth square chisel chain but funds say otherwise. dreams are free

I have a hedge trimmer thing with a T23 motor, how different is this?
