Coworker spent ages dealing with police and debt collection agencies over cellphones bought on finance using a drivers license she had lost.
I hope you keep their information secure, probably not though.
How do you use a drivers licence to pay for things etc ?

Yeah that's one good reason.
I got charged fine saying drove car with no tax. In n.i
Said didn't drive or own it at that time. As changed ownership in post office etc.
All documented proof etc.
Was like £90squids too

When selling car now. I ask for proof of drivers licence and proof money.
To me genuine buyers understand and know why etc
Selling my series 6 rx7 at present. In N.I/UK.
Well trying to lol
Also good way to weed out time wasters.

You can ask to see it when filling out change of ownership form.
I do buying and selling.

I always take a copy of their drivers licence so I have their name, dob, etc. I thought that was just common sense.
I've always done that too.
Also thought was the norm to do
Put drivers licence number on form.
Put the mileage on the form.
Now. No drivers licence. No view.

I'm making my own rx8 upgrades and modifications.
Standard they need a few general upgrades, so they start and run better
Then some upgrades to make the engine more reliable.
Can do a lot of mods done to early engines to rx8 engine, and vice versa
Then have rx8 KIWI stylez upgrades too
be mid/end of next year before on sale
there really the only engine/car in Ireland so have had last 15 years working on and modifying them to be better than factory. From knowledge/experience working on rx2/3/4/5, FB/FC/FD etc engines/cars etc. Still a lot more can be done to them. Money and time

I wonder if they will get popular for carb engine conversions. high comp. I see the odd manifold for them on the net so it must be a thing. ?
I've done an ida carb conversion and electronic dizzy on a rx8 6port in series 3 rx7.
But with the rx8 ecu being programmable. Its better to just use factory ecu. Injection etc

if your fitting a fc waterpump housing and pump to a pre fc engine, you need to grind a bit off the back of the housing, you will see if you look closely or put blue tack on it.
it hits the front cover,
try the waterpump housing without the gasket and shims, you will see where the waterpump housing contacts the front cover
grind it so there is clearance, without the gasket and shims,
so then there will be plenty with gasket/shims etc
if i get a chance ill take pictures for you
as said, its only if your fitting a fc waterpump to a early 12A/13B pre fc engine
the shims having nothing to do with the fc waterpump housing hitting front cover and causing it to not be flush etc
if your using shims, shims go on x2 studs, not one stud
-
have you interchanged a fc waterpump housing to a pre fc engine ? as you need to grind off a bit off the back of the waterpump housing for clearance
otherwise it will also leak
Trademe disputes?
