Greenfingers are Coregas suppliers up here too?
The dude at Greenfingers was a GC. No receipt needed and nothing said about transporting the bottle, It just costs $20 more than Bunnings.
-
Went through 4 different staff members at Bunnings to get that response ^
Had to go back to the original supplier, kicker is that they charge $149 for the swap that Bunnings will do for $129.
-
Fun fact, Bunnings Whangarei will not swap a Coregas bottle unless it was purchased from them and you have the receipt.
Cut and paste from Coregas site suggests otherwise.
When the cylinder is finished, find your closest supplier and swap it for a full one. Just pay for the gas and you're on your way.
Anyone else had this problem?

The lock rings ^ can be retrofitted into older Safaris, my 1989 has them.
A quick measure of my Y60 front end is 1615mm face to face + or - a bit.
Y61 has a bigger CV and swivel hub.
-
The hubs should be the same side to side on a safari. If you have the lockable auto hubs they can be converted to full manual.
Have done this to mine, but was a while ago so cant remember the details.
I think I got the how to from the patrol forum.

Photo bucket has had a hoon on the picks but I think that may be your mystery part?

Need to experience this thing to fully believe it.
Only down side so far, is it has the turning circle of a container ship and is shit house at snatching a Safari bogged to the door handles.

That gauge only goes upto 700°c. Would be nice if it went to 900
The Auber gauges are sweet.
Got one for oil pressure and one for egt.
Can set a maximum or minimum alarm, they also come in 24v.

Is half the weight of a Safari, so seems only fair that it has half the power/my guess is 49KW

I will be going to local Bunnings to see if they have this service as I'm currently using CO2 that's $80 a fill with own bottle.
Would be interested in what they say.
The Coregas site is listing Greenfingers landscape supplies 56 Kioreroa road as the Whangarei outlet.

Is 180amp too low for you?
https://www.boc.co.nz/shop/en/nz/boc-smootharc-multiprocess-180-welder-boc180multi-p
I'm going to be grabbing myself one next time they have a promo on it (last time they came with a free auto helmet, trolley, wire and other parts.)
180 will probably be fine.
Just trying to get biggest/best speck for my budget.
The BOC stuff does look like a good option, as far as being a known brand?

Been looking at one of these, https://www.arcweld.co.nz/itemdetails/Hugong-Carimig-200Wd-Welder---Euro-Connect/3419.aspx
Duty cycle looks good, also 3 year warranty.
Anyone had any experience with this brand?

Hiluxs are worth a mint!

Don't forget the 750kg of mud stuck to the underside, may as well round it to a lazy 6T.
A 4age Hilux is renowned for its towing prowess though.
