  1. Right so with the lack of funds this week just decided to do what I could with what I had, so I managed to move the mirrors around and put them up the front, I re glued the chrome strip round the top of the windscreen, and also replaced the starter motor as the one that was on there was getting little tired. So starts first pop nowith:) Was also about to paint my rims and stick them on although now I am in desperate need of lowering
  2. Will do. Would I only need to top and bottom diameter of both spring?
  3. Sweet that's a huge help. Might look at getting a set of ex lowering Springs then. Thanks heaps man.

  5. Hey mate, sick wagon! much jealousy. Just a quick question. I have a 76 sigma and wanna know if you would know of what yr/make/model Springs or lowering Springs would fit in front and rear?? I'm having trouble finding any info onit. Cheers dude
  6. So I would have post this in the discussion thread but it wasn't allowing me to attach photos using my phone. But in any case... this be goals right here!! //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/54160-greenies-mitsubishi-galant-sigma-discussion/
  7. Right so have been looking into how to get this thing lowered and I haven't been able to find a set of lowering Springs listed for the 76 galant. So would anyone know whether there are any other makes or models that I could fit? Either another model's Springs that would lower it off the bat or other models I could buy lowering Springs for and they would fit??? Help please!!?? //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/54160-greenies-mitsubishi-galant-sigma-discussion/
  8. Anything happening next month. It's next week I believe?
  9. Cheers dude, don't think I'd be going as hard out as you with the ground up rebuild tho, haha
  10. So I've been playing around a little on my phone and have come up with this thing being my initial goals for the galant.
  11. Cheers guys. I thought I had to act fast coz thought someone might have the same idea as me. Just some second hand modgies. Nothing flash but thought I could paint them up or something.

  13. Hey guys. So I haven't been active on here in a long while but seeing as I've acquired a new car I thought I better jump back into it. This is my new galant. Was a bit of a bargain. Wofed reged already so can't complain. All round it's pretty tidy but needs some TLC in certain areas. Have already ordered wheels and tyres so I'll wait for those to arrive and in the mean time order some superlowes and might look into getting my Shocks shortened too. Other than that it'll just be a bit of rust repairing and some touch up on the paint which luckily the car came with a tin of. Cheers guys. I'll get onto the discussion page asap.
  14. So the lights turned put to be an easier fix than I thought it would be, I took it to my girlfriends dad and he found that there was another inline fuse under the dash that had blown, and once we put a new one in it was all sorted. Now I'm just waiting for my mate to finish welding my headers up and the then I'll chuck those on and it should be all ready, I'm looking forward to driving it properly again, it's been really sluggish with the crack in the manifold, it should sounds and run a lot better once the headers are on. //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/42643-austin-owners-1975-austin-1300-discussion/page-2

  16. Alright a lot has happened in the last couple days, Ive only really started working on this again and made some fast progress. It's now changed colour for the third and final time, and I have to say I like primer a lot more than brown... I've fixed the breaks, got the engine running well again, cut out the rust, bashed and bogged the dints, so the only things left for wof are the tail lights and the exhaust leak in at the manifold. Hopefully I'll get the last two things done on Friday and take it for a wof
  17. Baggage chacked the bulb and have check the cables, there's power going to the back so there are no breaks in the lines but I'm told it could be the headlight switch, so when it's turned on there's no power being sent back... Idk I'll be having a look at it on Friday, finishing the body work tomorrow
  18. Sorry not reverse lights I meant tail light a. Like when the head lights are on
  19. Things are changing again! No pics today but all the same, after going for a wof the other week I ended up with quite a list of things to fix. Thankfully now it's down to only a couple, it's just the tail lights and number plate lights that arnt working and I still need to make the breaks better, but other than that it's all ready. I'll also be changing the color again before nats as like everyone told me Im not as fond of the brown and cream as I first was, but this time I'm going to spend a little more time on it so it looks legit stay tuned!
  20. Yeah the original idea was to paint the whole thing poo brown and call it the rolling turd. But I ran out of brown paint..
