does anyone know if the rvr rear diff will fit into the irs turbo sigma? my rvr is still wof reg so dont want to pull it out just yet

Thanks man that would be great! The main reason i have sigma's instead of Lancers etc is because you hardly see them any more, especially sedans! breaks my heart to hear of one getting chopped up!

yeah thats what im thinking, they were all stripped for parts so i really want to keep it because of the rarity. all i can see is $ signs on getting the guard fixed haha but im pretty sure ill get it fixed

so yeah brought a factory 2ltr turbo sigma, with no motor.... But I would prefer to put the rvr motor in this because it has the fun stuff like IRS, disc brakes front and rear, and an LSD! pictures speak better than words and of course, the not so pretty engine bay now some might be wondering why i haven't started a new thread for this, and the answer to that is im not sure weather the body is salvage-able. on one rear guard it looks like someone got drunk and took vice grips to it and well, check this out. I dont think my welder is really up to the task of welding thin sheet metal, and ive never attempted welding body steel myself. so sort of stuck atm. if anyone could do a perky of cutting it out and welding a new patch im all ears, i just need to source a replacement panel, so if anyone knows of a body thats getting hacked up id like to hear from you also. //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/48218-kcs-1982-skidma-discussion/

tried the tail lights today, wasnt to sure about them, but once i seen them in some shade with some glow, they kinda grew on me. will polish up the old ones but for now i think im happy.

Got home to my tail lights in a box at the front door, was stoked! the lenses are in really good condition which is a bonus. the chrome was chipped quite badly so fixed that up with some black and im really happy with the result. will fix them tomorrow and polish the chrome on the ones currently on there incase i swap them back. the pics make the lense look pink but they are a really nice red.

yup, exactly how i did it! the comic was paper and the rising sun was a sticker. i say unwanted attention as they weren't large as previous ones of mine were, i had 3 1/2 twin bozos that went up to the boot lid and cops hated them! so no, nothing to do with noise just shear size

Hi Mate, absolutely love your work on the EX, such a thing of beauty! Im looking for some tips and information with my build. Basically i have a 82 Sigma 2ltr manual and a RVR turbo manual. Im wondering about things like what you get the front facing intake manifold off, what flywheel you are talking about (7bolt)? and where they come from. does the RVR rear lsd fit in a sigma housing? and other bugs/trouble i may run into doing this conversion, and the bits i need to buy/make before i rip my cars apart because atm they are both wof'd and reg'd and in use. Well not much has been happening with this. I have been trying to sell it to be honest. but iv decided that im going to save for a new daily and convert this to DOHC Turbo. due to this idea i bought a semi? new daily until i get a new new daily..? if that makes sense. anyway new car: 1995 RVR DOHC Turbo 4G63T, with a mighty 165,000 kms. From what i've red in the records of the car (legit one lady owner who passed) its a twin lsd? if anyone could let me know if rear diff will fit the sigma housing that would be cool. Pics:

finally got around to painting the mudflaps and i decided to go for a leopard print type style (yeah right!) it went nothing like my ex lancer ones did. these just did NOT want to be painted! the paint fish eyed, the red mixed with the black that i put on the day before. and this happened again and again. take it off put it back on etc. until yesterday it reacted the worst. and to be honest.. i had a second look and i actually kinda like it? maybe take them off and try again at some point but for now im happy.

Okay! Finally got the exhaust done, unfortunately wasn't able to the run the pipes on both cars due to the fuel tank being in the way but oh well it looks and sounds great as it is. will be making different bolt on exhausts aswell so i can play around when ever i want. probably make a straight twin exit exhaust aswell, might try a dumpy also. only 2" pipes, they look great but don't attract too much unwanted attention. Pics:

i was told that i was told the by the previous owner that it had been rebuilt when they bought it, was this you or was it BS? not mad as i got it for a decent price bit one of the gudgeon pins in a piston is knocking

there is honestly stacks of this stuff, i got my extractors off a '76 Galant and when i was looking at tail lights i found eterna sigma lancer etc and he had old Toyota lights etc and had a ke (36)? wagon in his yard also
