Thanks mate i will have a look through that in depth tomorrow. I just got a second hand one off a guy on a ford page on facebook. I also think its something to do with coolant, as its got a leak in a water line under the inlet mani which i will replace tomorrow, which possibly messes up the reading the sensor gets as its quite a big leak. Haha yea brought it off scott after he just couldnt be bothered with it, reckoned it was on limiter for 3 or so minutes... Thanks, ill need it haha

Alright replaced map sensor, now starts very very easy and idles like a champ when cold, can rev the car in drive very slowly uto about 3k. When the car gets upto temp, it turns to shit, wont idle, wont rev at all, possibly fucked coil pack?

Yea loving it so far Fuel filter is fine/clean, pulled plugs and cleaned, tried different HT leads of another coon that i know work and it is still bad. It has a MAP sensor located on the firewall, how would i go about cleaning or troubleshooting that? Only ever had dealings with maf before. The car is running VERY rich, so map looks probable. With the map sensor unplugged the car still idles fine, a little higher than normal, put into d or r and it just dies.

Fuels only couple of weeks old. Yes still has 02 sensor just before flange. Will have a look at map sensor soon, cheers haha yea i know, have sorted out some front springs.

Just got an ef coon, desprung, was a burnout car.. haha. Has no exhaust after the flange, has no intake before butterfly but will be putting that on soon. Trying to get it running to use as a paddock car then when the time comes, derby it. Car starts up and idles rough. In neutral the car will rev upto 4krpm if i quickly tap the accelerator, if i push it flat the car will stutter and die. In reverse/drive it will drive fine without pressing the accelerator, as soon as i press it the revs die down and the car starts stuttering. Internet search brings up many results, coil pack, cam sensor, isc unit. Anyone had this issue before? or does it sound like one thing more than the other... Tell me if i need to give ya more info... Here it is in all its glory

All windows in Found a couple of widened mk? cortina rims, Currently has 185/70r13s on as thats what came on them. Need to find two more now.. Fills those arches abit better

Made up some new scuff plates as my old ones were warped and twisted abit too much I think it looks quite tidy

Fitted sunvisors and rear view mirror still need to be painted obviously Wired up all the lights! Both headlights lit up. New fuel cap arrived from ebay, will need to do something about the ugly seal behind it!

Mt75 rwd goodness! Brought a package off trademe with two, one for me, one for dad. Tinted the rear window, its only 35% but looks abit darker. The rear quarters and front door windows will be the same Heres a couple of shots of the whole car polished, i do admit it looks abit better in photos than in person Put the white stripe on the whole way, its not as straight as it could be so i might have to buy some more and re ut it on

Did abit of polishing over the weekend! Its come up with an awesome shine/polish. Still has a few small scratches etc in it but it was never going to be perfect being painted in the garage. Also found some old pinstripe so we put it on just to see what it would look like

Black stripe following original body line. Will have a white pinstripe on either side of it to give it a clean finish!

Here is dads anglia he just brought. Sorta the same situation as my one, all stripped down with everything inside of the car. It has 82 thousand genuine miles and last WOF in 1999. Rust in the back quarter lights and front doors. Rego on hold!!!!!
