the build continues… changed the front back to series 1… I am one of the few that like the square lights.

We are building a 20b turbo FD for the GTRNZ 2014/2015 race series...sister car for Jaffa rx (orange 13bpp FD). Will be ready by september...but need some help with the livery. Base colour of the car is deep blue. Looking to either go blue or green swirl. Thoughts?

Thanks re comment on LIME RX. It runs a carbed 13bbp, gilmours, wilwood brakes and straight through exhaust. Will throw some adjusties on her one day. I spent a bit on the interior - and think its looking pretty sweet (not original I know, bt not over the top either like some of them). Photos for those who haven't seen her...

I thought they might turn their nose up at a rotary in the Trials...but the guy currently in charge is racing an MX-5, so he's sweet. Got my number - 88 - sorted, and now just racing the clock to get it ready. Will run a carburetor-ed 13b pp. Probably just a 4-speed box at this stage for Trials. But if I get the bug, then will go 6 speed sequential in time. Got a 6-speed sequential (Elite box) in the racing FD - now that is awesooome!

Thanks. Yep...this is the one from Warkworth...far from perfect...but thought it would be good for the Classic Trials. Couldn't believe no rotaries represented..! Had to do something about it.

OK..enough fun with Illustrator...lets sort out the headlining and chuck in a half cage. What color? Well we did say red accents. GT3 red?

First things first...need a bit of a concept for the build. Nothing too serious, as want to keep it road registered with a Motorsport license. Idea is to drive it to the track and drive it home. Not crazy on the cream color, but can work with it. Only recently resprayed so would be a shame to redo...ok, lets keep as is. Maybe throw in some red accents when we get to the interior and the livery, to make it pop a little more. Best get drawing....

what class are you racing in? I am getting my rx2 coupe rebuilt for classic trials later in the year... www.cosmomotorsports.com (builds). I am no racer, so thought starting of in the classic trials might be the way to go. Looks like I will be the only rotary buzzing around a field of escorts, 964s, chargers and capris... should be a blast...haha
