  1. Peoples of oldschool... I need help. Didn't go with bc's (regret it) but I don't think the rear springs would match up anyway. Am trying to re do the rear at the moment but shits driving me insaine trying to get lower stiff legal and cheap. Trying to find rear springs that will match up to my e series diff. Top diameter measures around 130mm and bottoms shrinking down to 110mm in the last 1 or 2 coils. HeArd falcon springs are stiff. Any recommendations? Need this shit sorted its silly soft ATM bump stops are getting wrecked
  2. gx fronts would fit but would it screw it up the height having a 1s (4cly)? less weight on the front? no one knows the stock spring rates for an sx for some reason
  3. damn thats true, i dont know shit haha, i read stuff and assume i know. new shocks and custom coils next week

Because it is a 1s instead of a 1g looks like il have to get custom coils made up, and shocks are screwed so need new shocks all round. fun fun. got new tires fitted today, 195/60/15, fills the gap a bit more with a rather large sidewall, looks slightly shit but will save $ on petrol. new coils and shocks next weeeek
  5. Its def irs in the back. apparently similar to the ae86 set up? should i just get some superlows? until I can afford/find adjusties...
  6. anyone have any suggestions for suspension set ups? have asked a few shops and they say it too old for adjusties? and just suggest 30mm low springs got irs in the back
  7. yeah possibly, that would be a cheapish fix? haven't been able to figure it out yet, crusing to Wellington for the week and will try and sort it out when im back up

  9. Painting the rocker cover and trying to degrease some of the engine. Need to get rid of that ugly airbox asap. Looking into ramflo and k&n filters, also want to get a twin tip put in for fun.
  10. How it is now sitting... pretty gross How I would like it to be sitting for daily use Hopefully going to sort some d2 adjusties soon, need to save. Once thats done I feel like having a look into a beams conversion. any help would be much appreciated haha

  12. Found some local DTM oldschool's with nuts and 25mm spacers for a pretty good price, near perfect, quite a typical wheel to chuck on but I couldn't resist! also gave it a good wash, cut and polish, seat covers (seats were covered in human slime).
  13. Yeah I thought w55 was 5 speed, but it says w55 on my vin plate, and its definitely is 4 speed haha. could be a mistake? Would be super keen on a beams 3S down the line! would I need to sort a new trans and diff too? loom? ecu? very new to this whole engine swap thing, have little knowledge on it but I'm keen to get stuck into it
