  2. heres a photo of the steering wheel in. and the general interior as it stands. as you can see it needs a head unit, and the seats are shanked. which ill get to in a sec. -has a hks boost gauge that fits in so well with the interior, 80's style. really want some nice black mats. if anyone can recomend any, for good plice. you cant see it in the pics really but the head liner is fuuuucked. ripped up from when the previous owner tried to ram a scooter in there. looking at getting it re wrapped in a black suede or what ever, not really phased on material lol. but suede is nice. and ill get the door cards done at the same time. if anyone can spot what looks to be a spot on the dash where a lid pops up. (passangers side) guess what it is?...... yeah thats right a FTW fridge!!.................. but it doesnt work lol.. because the ac is fucked. so thanks to forum member 'Mattt' i found a mint set of Fishnet recaros, from toyota commercial wreckers. will get a mate to pick them up and hold and when i do my roady to welly ill grab them then much better then the ones in there. and hopefully i can get them to sit nice and low. thanks for reading. i hope i can bring you more updates soon Joe
  3. Can you find any 13's? I mean I don't want to be a smart ass but find a set that actually look like mine aka size. Thats what I was getting at. The wheel gurus I have contacted all say the same thing. They are a presessor to the mk3-s but they aren't actually mk3-s. If you can find somewhere that has 13x6.5 mk3-s thats fine and ill be happy. But ive searched pretty hard and have only come across the ones you linked

  7. welcoming package at the door made a average day awesome! origional packaging and in absolutly flawless condition. momo leather steering wheel with red stitch and a boss kit. thanks to forum member 4age. biggest gc out. its all installed but the crap photos i got were crap so ill chuck one up tomorrow. goes with the black interior soo nice next up is some speakers and a headunit. some of you may have seen my thread looking for some recaro fishnets aswell. looking for some mint as ones for this ol' girl. prefurably black. just to keep with the boxy shapen and retro feel to the car. not a biggy so can wait for the perfect set to pop up really wanted to get into the PB drag club day on this saturday but have rugby so will pass it up. NZHondas is holding a dyno day on the 31st hopefully so will see a before figure then slap a HKS EVC in and crank the boost to 15psi with a fuel cut defender to hold back the factory fuel cut to 20psi, chuck in an O2 sensor and gauge, then put a progrsssing fuel reg in, something like a 3:1 should do and bleed it off till im happy i've been advised around 11.8:1 is a good sweet spot for 13 psi so will dable around there. thanks for reading again guys. much apprichiated. if theres anything you would like to know, or help me out with im open to all. just post up in my questions thread
  8. Yeah bastard of things. Tuning is a bitch too. Almost impossible to chip do im just going to use a progressive fuel reg with a bleed valve. Its rough but about all you can do. Unless I go for one of those hks piggy backs. Yeah you'll need a fuel cut defender to get any higher then 15psi sadly. Hoping to regrind the cam in time too so that will put a little more acid on the tb

Port the tb because the factory one is tiny and when I set it up to 20psi itll help alot Holden rodeo because its pretty straight forward pretty much just need to mod the actuator and its still small because its only a 1.2 with super low comp and others have had good results from them. If I find (or if someone could help) find an after market ball bearing turbo that would be great but its hard to find one small enough hahahaha Yes injectors are on the cards. Looking at ones from a honda prelude h22a either the 345cc's or the 290's and thatll be more then enough

My name is joe, im pretty new here but i thought id give you an insight into my 'oldish' school ride honda city turbo II 1984 Pretty much i bought my T2 city off Lotasboy on the NZH forum and he has done a bit of rust work and given it a lick of paint. it came on some ssr replicas.. branded heroes. so ill start with my plans and run onto where im starting and what my position is. in the end of Stage 1 of the BULDOG build i would like. -new intake consisting of a air to water intercooler and a wank wank bov. as well as a ported throttle body. i plan on incorporating a KTM radiator as the cooler, a bouche pump, nylon braided lines and a custom 2" water barrel. - a holden rodeo turbo rebuilt and hyper flowed. and for the exhaust i am currently looking at options for the waste gate as many of you may understand saying there is not room in an eaa engine bay is an understatement. so i may just end up separating the exhaust housing with a bead of weld. grinding flat, using a custom flange and then running a single 1" pipe all the way to the back where it will merge into the main exhaust about 200mm before the bumper. to keep awesome flow but not look like a cunt. this will mean ill have to mount the muffler a little further back the pipe. running the waste gate like this mean i can do some heavy porting to ensure i don't get and back flow for the high boost levels ill be running. i have a spare cam so ill be looking into getting that reground. and the rest will just be the tidy up of the engine bay. on the inside i still need a working stereo, and i want to strip it out and incorporate modern sound dept mostly on the fire wall doors foot well and wheel arches. in the future ill look into black sr3's or fishnets on custom rails. i also have a set of mk3 ssrs that I'm in the middle of refurbishing. tossing up between silver centers or color matched to the turbo II stickers.. both with polished lips and black extended wheel nuts. just need a couple of maintanace things to sort out before i get too carried away like some buggar cv's to replace. should have some speakers and a head unit coming in the mail so that will take the edge off the ride a little ahah. aswell as super gc forum user '4age' hooking me up with a boss kit and momo wheel thats nicely period correct, should be arriving any time. id like to go 20-30 mm lower but the rear tubs are so damn tiny i may be a bit restricted untill i decide to go full retard with a grinder and welder anyway hers some pics. thank you and enjoy //oldschool.co.nz/index.php?/topic/39650-avjoes-city-turbo-questions/
