I must have just got some lucky lady this is the law after 30 mins looking around there web site $225 is the amount http://www.whatsmyduty.org.nz/faq
Less than $60 GST but $70 in DHL charges crap
Car parts dont get charged duty so the $400 limit applies.

If its total cost including shipping is under $400 they dont bother as the GSt amount is only $60 and not worth the time to collect

Back in the day I had a da6 integra that had a b16a, had a dodgy temp sensor that caused similar problems

Well it has made it to 300k so it cant be that bad, or its on its death bed

Yep - best way to determine the true value someone will pay.
Put it on a 3 or 4 week auction timeframe (i think you can do that) and then that gives piners with no money time to ask the bank man/woman for monies.
Can only do a 2 week auction on trademe.
List it as an auction with a $5k starting bid and reserve at $9k and go from there and then after a few weeks then go $1res

Anyone know of any 105 octane fuel? P5 has a 10.5:1 ratio
Just use 95/98. 10:5:1 isnt that high compression ratio

Discovered that small cars get bought for learner drivers so 1 owner and 80,000ks can also mean not 1 straight panel never been serviced not worth the grass its parked on. Shits not as straight forward as i was hoping.

With regards to drive shaft loops. Car originally had a n/a v6, new engine is a 1.8 4cyl turbo, all bolts in on factory mounts and nothing has changed on the drive line. The v6 had 175hp, the 1.8 has 150hp. Will it need a loop?

i'm sure i heard tell somewhere that the VCC have thousands of old registration records somewhere that pre-date computerisation, but that might just have been an old Barry tale.

Motorbikes can be expensive to run, mine isnt particularly fuel efficient at about 4.5l/100km, and only holding 11l range isnt that great either.
When I was doing a lot of kms I had a mk3 golf with the 1.9tdi, was so cheap to run, super reliable and was nice to drive, then it was written off after been shunted up the arse. I then got a peugeot 306 with the 2.0hdi which was just as good as the golf
