So here we have some of the rust i found to start with not to bad Just the normal floor rust.. Then i found a little more rust in the sill on the passenger side with a nice lot of bog on it...

Hi im Matthew I bought this mk1 escort 2.5 years ago, this was my first car and was always intended as a project so i didn't get much of a chance to drive it, i set out pulling the car apart and was a little heart broken when i started finding all the rust in the car, i knew it had floor rust and the common rust of an escort , so the first thing to do was set out and clean all the rust out and replace with new material the car is still in need of some rust repair, i will slowly add photos of what i have been doing since i have been working on it for 2 years now and have a lot of progress photos.
