Hi man, what's the story with the D1 in the background? it looks like a minter!

This is my masport lawn sprite reel mower powered by a jap model O, it goes quite well and does a good job of the lawns when I use it.

I have some parts for model Os aswell as I have just restored a complete engine from 2, I gave the points a good clean and it makes good sparks.

I have had huge success with my villiers midgets, I have 2 on my drome bike and it goes quite well, 60km+

I can count the teeth on the sprockets if you want so you can get the gearing.

Very cool, What did it power originally? Do you have the mag for it?

These are a cool engine Rob, especially the hit and miss part. Where did you find it? I don't think that many were brought into NZ.

Also have you got it running right since the video was taken?

Awesome engine, very cool. Is this one that had been on trade me recently? About four have sold but way out of my price range.

Have you thought about building a board track racer replica with this engine? It would look just the part. 

Both of the engines on my bike are Morrison reel mower villiers and they came out with aluminium flywheels. I don't see any reason that the brass flywheel tapers would be any different to the tapers on an aluminium flywheel engine. So it should be easy to swap flywheels and do some tests?

My porting was extremely basic, it involved rounding of the bottom of each intake port with a die grinder. I think it worked though because when i rode it afterwards it seemed to have a bit more torque and a higher top speed. 

Looking good kicker, are you going to do any porting/tuning on those villiers?

Yesterday was so cool, i agree i need some leather motorcycle boots. Does anyone have a pair that they would want to sell or knows someone who does? My bike was getting way to hot. I think that we have to have a drome meet early in the morning or in the evening when the air is denser and there is more oxygen.

Well my mum has just said that she can bring me to this for a couple of hours and i am super excited to have another go on a velodrome. Is there any other villiers powered bikes that are going to be there?

I am so keen for another go on the rotodrome so hopefully i will be at dromeageddon. I have got one of those bike speedo things so now i can see how fast i am going.

Is camping in the middle of the drome ok? because that would be pretty cool.
